I’ve not seen anything about this and given the MCC treatment I don’t know if they’ll be going down that route. They seem fairly set on controlling all servers even for Customs via official channels as part of the general experience (which honeetly given the horrendous things which can happen on truly private servers I can entirely understand).
Thing is bad servers should always be reported. and clamped down on. I do understand that POV trully i do.
But i come from Battlefield 1. and the Anti cheat is …no other words for it Beyond garbage. private servers are seen as the only real safe haven from cheaters where as Fairfight bans them lets say after 2-3 weeks of solid hacking and most of the time temporarily. (2-3 weeks) private servers are the only place we can ban them at the click of a finger from what ive seen from Halo MCC’s multiplayer i feel it maybe required ive met so many hackers these past few weeks.
