Hey, I preordered Halo Wars 2: The Ultimate Edition, so in three days I should be receiving Halo Wars DE. I used to be one of the better players in the world in 2009 (albeit I was part of the second generation of high level players). Don’t be dissuaded by my gamertag, I’m not a -Yoink- haha, my friend and I thought it was funny while we were drunk one day. My old gamertag is ChainsOfAnarchy, and I’m sure at least a few people here know me from the old forums. I’d love to have consistent teammates, and my goal is to have fun more than anything else. I won’t say that I’m still as good as I was, seven years is a long time to build up rust, but it won’t take me long to get to at least a bit of my former skill. I’m 21 now, and it’s no problem if you’re not near me in age range. I can also teach players if they’re brand new to the game. I just need to find the other preordering people so I have someone to play with :D. Hit me up.

OP, I am also getting the DE and would love to join you for some grinding. I used to play with a few people from the original forums, but really didn’t get into the game until the Lazyfrog.us days and then the community was all down hill from there. Anyways, I am definitely down to get a regular thing going in hopes to have some solid teammates going in to HW2.
I would be up for playing on dedicated 3v3. That is still my favorite playlist, and now that Glacial Ravine will be a common map, it should be help a bit with the variety.

Whiteout is that you? Let’s get this stuff back together boys. The OP is correct in wanting consistent teammates. Strategy and discussion works best with people who are working up the ladder with you.

Well feel free to play the original with me too! As well as the DE if you’ve gotten it :). I can teach you the basic game mechanics, and then your RTS experience will come into play, let’s do it! Add me up

It’s the Decisive Edition that comes with the ultimate preorder of Halo Wars 2, it gets released on Tuesday. The original is backwards compatible, I’ve been playing it almost exclusively on my xbone lately. We could play for a bit tonight if you’d like!

oh Tuesday? I thought Halo Wars 2 is released sometime in February?
i’d play it but my hard drive is absolutely full atm, i think i need an external extra drive

It does! Halo Wars: The Decisive Edition is a remastering of the original that you only get through a preorder of the second one. It’s for both PC and Xbox One :D. If you have the original it doesn’t take much space on the hard drive.

Yea yea… add me on this account tho. whiteout is gone along with my 360 so Dricas88 is my Xbox1 master account. I have been playing Wars here and there via backwards compatibility, but I just don’t like the feel of it on the One. Hopefully the DE feels natural on the One. Guess we will find out soon!
