That’s it, thats all I really wanted to say.
Once they have a group going it is difficult to stop. In team games preventing them getting there is much more difficult too. Hopefully deci passives might get a little toned down with a future patch.

Deci, Colony, and Kinsano are the only ones worth going air with because of passives. If you nerf the passives, you make air completely useless.
Hopefully there will be a patch that helps air out a bit, but it most likely won’t be for a while seeing as there are many more vital issues that need to be dealt with first.
I completely agree decimus air should be toned down.
Deci Banshees are a pain, but I wouldn’t nerf his passives.
You nerf the passives then Decimus goes in the trash bin

You can’t nerf passives without killing Decimus but you can’t debuff Banshees either. Best course, change the modifier cap to half the effect for his late teir passive that effects only Banshees so they are the same for anything else while making sure Banshees are no longer OP with Decimus. If this nerf takes effect, Banshees need a slight supply cost buff as 100 supplies a pop is too exspensive while still losing to Hornets, even with AA upgrade. I recommend taking at least 20 supplies or buffing AA upgrade as Hornets are better in every way, making Banshees near useless for both mid and late game without considering AA strength.
I dealt with that yesterday in a 3v3, and I have to say, the only way we won was thinning the game down to a 2v1 in our favor. In a 1v1, I doubt Decimus would lose a late game.

Air isn’t useless because it’s bad, it’s useless because vehicles are op right now. Banshees are supposed to soft counter warthogs/marauders, but they lose to them right now.
The fact that there are major arguments that passive are the only way to make banshees viable gives us some evidence that banshees are too weak themselves. Maybe a slight buff to banshees but a slight nerf to passives?

They don’t want our Space Gorilla to shine, first they kill him in campaign now they’re gonna kill him in MP.

That’s what I was getting at mentioning the next patch. But air won’t be seeing much more use even afterwards, as AA will most likely go untouched. Air will beat straight vehicles, but AA is so good that all you have to do is mix in a few Reavers/Wolverines into the fray of core vehicles in order to beat air.

Yes and no. Air is not “Useless” but Banshees right now are dammed. They cost more than Hornets, alot more, just to lose to Hornets while serving as a light counter to ground. Currently, i’ll never build them before late game as they are only decent when massed but should be something I can effectively use and build during 10-20 min rather than 40min mark. On top of that, mass Core Vehicles barely lose to mass air and a little AA along with it makes air a complete joke. Main point, Banshees are not worth building in many situations, unless your Decimus. Even with all these hardships, Core Vehicles still deal too much damage to general air while be completely negated by AA in small numbers.

You can’t nerf his passives. You can reduce the effectiveness they hold on Banshees.
Currently units thare affected by boundless siphon get health back proportional to the damage they are inflicting (supposedly). Maybe if we took out the boost in siphon caused by boundless fury they would fall more into line. Also remember, Decimus has no nuke abilities so he needs his army to be stronger than a normal one, in a perfect world when marauders aren’t so strong and banshees aren’t so week, his buffed units should be the trade off for not having any hunters brand,/mac blast like ability or any unit drops besides the decimus unit.
