Hey everyone, what are your opinions on the new Decimator armor set? And what do you think its rarity should be?
Edit: it has been confirmed as an ultra-rare
Hopefully its mythic as it looks like a recreation of Noble 6s armor
I really like it, so I hope it is rare or below so I can grab it in one Silver pack.

Pretty sure it’s ultra rare, look at the blurred armor rarities in the reveal, they’re all ultra rare or higher

I’d rather have a worthless armour that I can actually use rather than have a super rare mythic armour that I love and will likely never get (looking at you, Mark IV).
So that being said, I love the armour and really hope that it’s a rare as well.

Not at all, it’s a luck based collection system. The only actual worth in any player customisation reqs are their aesthetics.
I just would want the regular Thom armor/helmet since SIX doesn’t have that helmet attachment but even then the Decimator looks off.
I’m craving it, When I played reach, I used default everything (I only attached that thing on the head)
It was my main armor, so I’m going to rotate it between Centurion/Noble Six (Decimator)/ and Mark V Alpha.
Decimator looks awesome.
It would look even better if they didn’t have those bumps on the visor. I hope that it’s just the angle.

Yeah the helmet looks off to me, I hope they didn’t think to redesign it.

That’s like saying getting the best gear in Destiny or WoW isn’t worth anything because its luck based…
Making an armor locked off to a small minority of players due to low chances of getting mythics makes it more unique due to rarity

Those armors have stat buffs that add to its worth. You also need to work for them.
You can feel special about luck based Armor with no Ingame benefits if you want but eventually the majority of the community will have it and it will be left with no worth in your eyes.
Just wear Armor you like the look of, it makes no difference.
They should’ve named it “Vector” since Noble Six was known as “more of a hyper-lethal vector than a soldier.”
Plus the word “Vector” has six letters. Seems fitting to me.

Although I agree with your idea, there is already three armor sets known as ‘Vector’, so they would have had to think of a new name.
Maybe they will do something like make it so a spartan company has to complete all their commendations to get it. You know? Something even more ridiculous than the Achiles armor. lol
I’d like to see it as a rare too. It can be a little disappointing seeing new cool content come out and not having the time to grind for it.

I’m more into the HELIOSKRILL WARBOUND as I don’t have the Original Heliskrill Skin. It will go good with the Achilles Helmet which my Company will be the first to have

I believe the stream yesterday said it was ultra rare, but I could be mistaken. That’s fine by me. Ultra rare is obtainable for people who can’t pay everyday and won’t spend money on reqs like me!

I like the set. It looks like something from traditional Halo, which is a good thing although I do like some of the SIV designs.
