Sometimes you just need to vent. Or maybe OP hoped someone had a similar situation and found a fix.

You may have to hard reset your console, I know a lot of times my xbox will wack out on things like that, but hard resetting it helped wonders, so trying unplugging the power cable straight from the console itself and plug back in… It shouldn’t delete your progress on your install of the game… Good luck, also, don’t be a weenie, but tough enough for the salty spatoon haha
yeah, delete it and reinstall. Pain in the butt I know.

Did you try restarting the xbox?
Yeah I’d try a hard reset before deleting the progress.

Pause the installation and resume it.
