I’d say 343 dropped the ball, but I don’t think they ever hold the ball, nudge it around.

The idea of launching 10 days after a highly anticipated COD shooter would have been on the fine line between a death wish and hubris. Regardless of the fact that neither of these games directly compete with one another, attention can only go in so many directions at once, and Activision simply got there first. Launching in December means that people will have calmed down enough about COD and the new Battlefield to properly receive Halo Infinite, if I’m not mistaken. (Which I easily could be. I’m not terribly bright.)
Woo hoo!!, We finally got a release date, and it will be at the end of fall quarter so I can actually have time to play it! I can’t wait.
They should have released it on December 4th.

You know, that’s what makes purely digital purchases so great, since when you purchase games from the Microsoft Store or Steam, they cant sell out since there are no physical games exchanging hands, its all downloads.

I believe this was talking about the Halo Infinite console. But you’re absolutely right about digital downloads being much better so that hard physical copies don’t run out. Thanks for sharing fellow Spartan!
Probably hoping the chip shortage gets sorted out by then and ms can get some series x out on the shelves.
Everyone keeps claiming Microsoft but most people dont know that the chips used are used in many other non game related products. Namely vehicles. The Daytona race track in Florida is stacked with cars built but missing chips. Dealerships are bare. The automotive industry is a major essential part of our infrastructure and they will definitely get the chips before us gamers. I’m hoping for the best, but I’m afraid it may be another scarce holiday.
