It is pretty fun; However, I think there are some tweaks that could be done.
-One of my biggest problems is, it’s not always very fun. Sometimes I wish I could play against my self because no one else tries to control the map, which is key to moving your troops, & whenever you do, the other team or your teammate quits.
-Balance seems to be an issue. I’ve had 3 marine units with full health not be able to destroy a 1 slot mini base just finishing & subsequently spawned with 2 marine groups that wiped me out. 1:1 Banished vs. Marines, should be Marines advantage, (unless they have the countering advantage) have you seen the Banished’s awesome death ray that destroys bases in an instant? (In my opinion, the only issue I have is it’s unlocked too quickly.)
-I think troop movements should be reported better by your “scouting” units, snipers & jack-rabbits for Marines. I guess it wouldn’t have to always be super accurate, on how many, but a we have troop movement and a general area/direction would make it a lot more fun because I feel like it would increase the earlier skirmishes.
- Countering has felt off. The amazing thing about AA is something dirt cheap can take out a multi-million dollar machine. I’d like to see this increased forcing teams to actually play the whole game & move in with some ground forces to take out AA guns first. The Banished anti-building things should be stronger. There was one game where the enemy brought all his infantry on my flank & I ran away with 2 anti-building guys & an engineer, & they got wiped out (even with the fight on after they die) against non-anti-vehicle turrets. (I didn’t think this would destroy his base, but it should have messed it up enough to force the opposing team to make a decision and alter their assault.
-Spamming units should be more realistic. 100 Scorpion tanks is awesome at all, but 100 scorpions on a map like this is the end of 100 scorpions. There should be maneuvering costs or something. There is no way they can get all those scorpions moving through these valleys & rivers with out getting stuck & they should be getting stuck or bogged down, & there should be a bonus on AEO damages against stupid moves like these. Scorpions moving like that were meant for wide open fields. Because in reality all you have to do is make the first one stop & they are done for.
-I know it’s not domination, but resource control having more effect would be pretty cool.
-Multiple rally points/squadrons/battle groups would be amazing.
-Oh and, maybe you already have it, but sabotaging the opponents bases would be amazing. A cloaked unit that ran up to the enemies base and the next time they try to build
something, or upgrade it, & that building blows up?!?!? It’d force teams to decide to spend units that’d take away from their assault.
