I’ve noticed that you cant turn or switch your Deathcam on certain Playlists especially WARZONE and Firefight.
Does anyone KNOW not guess the reason why? I mean its not like this had to be implemented or programmed as it is the default in all of HALO, so I guessed that it was removed by choice.
But I can’t figure out why anyone would do that, it’s a big inconvenience and very anoying to me.
Anyone?
not sure if theres any real answer to that…
I don’t think we’ve ever had the option of enabling / disabling your deathcam in any gamemode, let alone Warzone (Firefight).

noone is talking about that. turning around, changing the direction you are looking in deathcam. you can do it in most playlists by pressing your Right Thumbstick in the direction you want to look. not in Warzone though. Why?
That is a very good question. Maybe they forgot to put that option in.
Probably because the respawn screen in Warzone changes to you picking your spawn location and and REQs you want to use.

U think it has to be put there for every playlist seperatly? Ithought they took it out because it is there in almost all other playlists.

that could actually be a reason. You get a few seconds of Deatcam b4 that though, at least in FF
and, correct me if im wrong, but can’t you press B to return to you deathcam? I never play regular Warzone. Just 1 match of FF to get 2 free Silverpacks and warm up my Magnum (i use pistols only in FF unless noone has brought out heavy vehicles to win round 4 and 5)
I figured that you could abuse the Deatcam in regular Warzone by staying dead in an enemy base and give call outs. That would be a reason to nerf it at least.
But in FF iwould like to turn and see what killed me from behind.

From what I remember, we’ve never had the option of looking around your character after getting killed in Warzone, whether it be regular Warzone, Assault, or Firefight. You’re pretty much stuck with the one view that’s fixated on the person that killed you, and I think it’s been like this since release.

I don’t know, just a guess.
But what this guy said sounds logical. Although you can’t sit forever and watch since you’ll spawn automatically or get kicked from the game if you AFK.
But it has probably something to do with this.
I don’t recall 343i mentioning why they didn’t add death cam in WZ so you’d have to get an answer from one if them directly (if they haven’t answered that already). If I had to guess though it would be because the respawn time in WZ is used to select reqs and choose where you want to spawn.
I always figured it was so it didn’t give away the position of snipers and stuff, since it doesn’t always show you who killed you.
