I absolutely cannot stand the music that plays every time you die. The glitchy kill cam makes it that much worse.
Either take it and the kill cam out or give us the option to turn them off.
It’s fairly subtle music, but sure, I’m rarely against giving someone the option to opt out of a feature like that.
Sometimes if there are a lot of explosions it’s more difficult to make out. I guess some people just don’t notice or care, so it may seem like I’m making a big deal out of nothing. But it’s like nails on a chalkboard to me. It seriously hinders my ability to enjoy the game.

I really hope we can get a response on this issue. Gameplay balance and mechanics and technical issues are far more important. But those take time, and data to analyze. This feels pretty cut and dry.

I can’t stand the death music. I’m ok with killcams, as long as they are useful, but halo 5’s is not useful, it just shows you being killed. It doesn’t show the moments leading up to your death, which is why I don’t like it right now. Also, get rid of the fade to black.

The music will drive people to rage quit more than they already do. It has to go.
Once the newness of H5 wears off all the little crap will drive people away.
I made a thread on this at the start of the beta, but never hit off, i cant stand the kill cam tune, its so annoying, music like Cods one (yes… i went there unfortunately) was so much better, this ones annoying… Tbh id prefer it if they just got rid of kill cam altogether…
The killcams and death music really piss me off, literally. The death music is kind of like people laughing at you when you fail and when that music plays continuously in a bad game then people will resort to something They are better at. If you are trying to Introduce new players, they’ll resort to CoD.
And the kill cams need to show more of where the enemy came from and less of where they went.

No matter how things are balanced, there will be people who complain. But having an option for something like this only stands to help people.
I just want to see the countdown to know when I respawn, the other stuff doesn’t bother me nearly as much as not knowing for sure when I am about to respawn. I like the subtle things they added, though, like the other day I actually heard some bugs buzzing around and thought that was awesome!
And I agree, the more options the better. They should try to implement a preferences to the game, where you can turn off kill cam, spartan chatter, background music, revert to countdown game starts instead of the stances, etc. Options and preferences do not hurt anything.
There is music when you die? Never noticed to be honest…
I laugh hysterically at the music. It makes the lamest of deaths seem super dramatic. The option to turn it off would be awesome. But it should definitely be left as an option for my entertainment needs when I’m having a bad day lol.
As for the death replay. Again leave it as an option, sometimes I need a second look at what happened just to be sure. I always love the grenade -Yoink- stick replay. Classic.
