Why do you do this? I understand the odd trollish mood is fun at times but to consistently Spartan Charge someone so they can’t access their REQs in time is just flat out low… do you really have nothing better to do than to diminish the experience of Warzone for others? It’s quite sad when you think of it.
I’ll be trying to access or think about what REQ I’m going to use but nope, Spartan Charged from some -Yoink- so I can’t even decide what REQ to use. I’ll have to keep going back to the station in hopes that he won’t do it again or I will be fast enough to choose what I want. These seem to be somewhat isolated incidents but boy are they annoying when they do happen.
My proposition is to have the REQ screen stay no matter how far away you are from the actual REQ station itself. That would completely solve the issue.
I know this post won’t help anything really, but I was just wondering if anyone else encounters people like doing these sort of things? Other examples include intentional vehicle splattering to teammmates, damage to your vehicle by ramming into it etc…
Is this something new that’s being started, because it has happened to me. Mostly during Firefight.
I hear you, and its pretty annoying, I dont know why 343 didnt consider how much trolling can be accomplished with SC in WZ. I dont even bothering sniping from an edge because Im almost guaranteed being bumped off the edge.
I get it, its fun to -Yoink- with people, but it happens too often nowadays, and its just tiresome.

Nope, people have been -Yoinks!- for quite a long time now.
This is one of the many reasons I can’t stand the req system. I’ve posted about it a few times. A lot of people probably misread it as me hating microtransactions… and while I’m not really a fan of them in general… I can at least tolerate them if they’re done right.
The req system is not done right IMO. It’s a mess. It takes you out of the game and makes you spend time plunking around in a menu… right in the middle of the game. I wasn’t even aware people could do what you’re talking about, but that just makes it even worse IMO. Not to mention that, if you do really well, you get the opportunity to spend (read as waste) even more time not playing in order to bounce around in a menu and hunt down your next power up. Poorly conceived system that is poorly deployed. It’s one of several reasons I got bored with WZ so quickly.
It’s annoying. Report them on xbl and move on.
Glad I’m not the only one experiencing these sort of things.
But yeah like I said, just make the REQ Station screen stay active no matter how far away from it you are. Problem solved.
Firefight has brought out the inner kids in people. They thinks it’s funny or just messing around by constantly shoulder charging people… but I see it nothing more than Unsportsmanlike behavior.
The last time someone did that to me I betrayed them with a ghost and I’ll happily do it again.
Some people’s fun is other people’s pain, but that req charge thing is bs.

This
Yeah, noticed this A LOT this weekend, as opposed to “occasional” in regular Warzone. WTF, over?
I will man up and say that I have been doing this but only when I run past the req station. I dont guard the req station waiting for somebody to use it, if I’m by the station I might spartan charge you once or twice just for -Yoink- and giggles I never really knew people get upset by this. I’ve had this done to me before and I really didnt mind. Also I do this more in firefight because of the intermission phase were i’m not really doing anything so I just push other guys to keep myself entertained. It’s pretty funny when they shoot at you but I dont push it to far.

While I agree this is the most effective way of dealing with the issue currently, 343 should implement changes in how Spartan Charge can be used with teammates on the same team.
I see no clear benefit for being able to Spartan Charge another member of your team, aside from -Yoink- and giggles.
What I propose, is that Spartan Charge should have no effect on a fellow teammate - this should be a toggled feature. Say, I don’t like being Spartan Charged by teammates, I can go to the menu and click ‘toggle off friendly spartan charge,’ this would in turn effect your ability to Spartan Charge others on your team. Or if you like Spartan Charging other individuals, then you can ‘toggle on friendly spartan charge’ and be allowed to Spartan Charge (those who have it toggled on as well) and to be Spartan Charged.
Happens to me all the time
I’ve done it, I laughed, they splattered me with a hog in revenge. Good times

yeah it’s fine just as long as it’s not overkill im taking 2+ times.
its happned to me several times
The same guy did it to me, I could never pull out REQs. I had enough, I noticed that he brought out a Prophets’ Bane, so I pulled out a Ghost and splattered him. I took his Prophets’ Bane and killed Bosses with it. He kept Spartan Charging me after that, and after the game ended, he sent me a hate message.
You forgot to mention how firefight literally supplies you with hundreds of plasma pistols to stun friendly vehicles
