When you need to defend a base during warzone firefight you do not stand outside shooting the small number of enemies inside, you do not driving around on a mongoose doing nothing, you get your -Yoink- inside the base, you hide to halt the timer, and you wait. If you can’t find a place to hide you get your -Yoink- in a warthog and park it in a corner inside the base, you then hide behind the warthog in that corner and wait. The amount of morons who don’t know that standing inside the base halts the timer is astounding.

I did notice an insane amount of people hanging around the outside of the base for some reson.

I probably would have just kept driving my mongoose around if you hadn’t blessed us all with your presence. You truly are a god amongst men. Only feelings I have are lucky to have read your post.
Sometimes people just go inside and get instantly killed so can’t actually get inside, but that’s only sometimes, most of the times it’s probably how you say it is.

I do think people are quite idiotic when there is 5 people left and 2 minutes and the base is still at full but they don’t bother to go inside for some freaking reason. Usually if no ones in the base I spawn in with a speed booster or overshield to stop the timer long enough.

Here’s the problem.
Getting inside the base 8 out of 10 times means you’re immediately killed. If there’s only a “small number of enemies” as you put it, then you should have no problem getting inside and halting the timer solo.
That Warthog trick won’t work once they destroy it with various weapons, or hit it with an Incineration Cannon anyway.
But what would I do? I would spawn me a Rocket Warthog or a Scorpion, and lay waste to the entire bottom floor of the Garage, making it easier for other people to get inside.
Well, however, not the most tactful way to put it; he isn’t incorrect on how it’s to be done. I will say that there seems to be a lot of people sitting outside shooting in compared to going in; now I understand sometimes going inside is just a slaughter, but one way or another you have to make a push as a team otherwise you’re going to fail if you can’t get the timer stopped.
You mean standing on top of the base doesn’t work? I’ve been doing it wrong this entire time!

Well yeah but the warthog disappears in like 40 seconds, and if you stay in the drivers seat too long to keep it from despawning you’ll just get shot. and the damn soldiers LOVE to spam the splinter grenades at people. Of course 40 seconds is the difference between winning and losing tho

It doesn’t disappear because the prometheans are using small weapons to scratch it, or you can just shoot it with a magnum once every couple of seconds
