Do you guys even know what constructive criticism is, or what it’s like to be mature? Honestly do you expect 343i to take you seriously with title threads like “Wow 343’s incompetence is MIND BLOWING” or “Worst Halo of all time!”. How do you expect anyone to take you seriously while acting like a three year old whining about something that isn’t fixed within the first month of a game being out. Granted there are issues with that game that may have been oversights but every game suffers from this. And maybe 343i wants to take their time with a title update so they don’t screw anything up. It’s not like the game is unplayable at it’s current state. 343i is working their hardest I bet at this very moment on fixing the problems. I guarantee that by February 2013 this game will be in tip top shape. So please to everyone complaining think of an intellectual way to inform 343i about your problems with the game so they can fix it and make it a more enjoyable experience for you. That is all and I hope you guys leave this thread with some thought like “wow maybe I shouldn’t act like a three year old if my issue with the game isn’t fixed within the month of this game being out”
Note: I feel like what I say has some weight to it, I have currently logged 5 days on Halo 4 and have noticed a lot of problems that I am sure will be fixed in the up and coming months. So please be patient and try not to be immature. And in no way am I praising the game. I am just saying that get used to it because this new Halo and company are here to stay and I trust them and so should you!
P.S. It’s a new Halo and you know how everyone complains about COD being the same every year? DO you want that with Halo? Do you?

Halo’s entire genre has almost entirely changed. There’s a difference between change and radical change. If you do not recognize this you do not understand how the thought process behind halo works.

Because I disagree I’m immature and unreasonable. This is the exact mentality I am talking about.
Just because someone complains about the game doesn’t mean they don’t have any legitimate points.
And I say to expect immaturity because if you have used a game forum you would know that starting threads like these fixes nothing.

No, I’d say it’s the “Holy Yoink, where do I even begin” opening, which is rather condescending.
Followed by the making of excuses for other’s behavior, instead of acknowledging that people don’t approach things properly.
Basically it comes off as tacit approval of posting immaturely, condescendingly and generally not being constructive because “it’s a gaming forum”

I agree that there have been some radical changes but the core gameplay is still there. It’s still Halo. You also have to look at it from a company stand point. They are trying to make money so they have to change to appeal to the greater audience. It’s the sad sad truth about the gaming industry.
I paid 65.00 for this game. So far I have had to reduce my play time to one day a week to actually enjoy it. No forge world. No vehicles of note. In fact we’ve gone backwards in vehicles. No customization. Spartan Ops is fun for one day and then the community turns it into a nightmare. Little to no communication from the Developers and I get a fan boy telling me everything is gonna be sweet come February, which is hard to believe after 343’s track record of how they handled Reach and it’s Map Packs before Halo 4 launched. Yeah you’re really off to a great start on selling calm and complicity.

It isn’t the same core gameplay at all. Map design, weapon acquisition, movement speed, and the traits players start out with are all different.
Here is the problem though:
343i made too many changes so veterans are alienated.
343i at the same time didn’t make enough changes so no one new is buying the game.
They are losing customers and they aren’t gaining very many new ones. If they wanted to change the game they should’ve gone full force.

I remember when being a gamer meant something other than casually playing the crappiest and most popular games around.
It’s not like they listen regardless of how nicely or harshly you say it.

I am 23 an paralyzed from the chest down. I cant work. This game IS my life. The fact that I now have to wait several months before I can level up again now because of Microsofts incompitance pisses me off. Alot I have nothing else going on for me in my life except tv and video games. Dont assume we are all “entitled whiny children” If im told im going to receive something in my email or xbox message center I better damn well get it.
