To everyone who has been dogging Halo 4 because it is “Ripping off” a certain game… Please, for the love of Keyes, quiet down… Halo 4 has already proven its ingenuity… the high end graphics. The return of the beloved BR. The crazy ammount of customization. and most importantly I refer you people who say that 343 isn’t “CREATIVE” I refer you quickly to Spartan Ops.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions but I’ve seen some pretty ugly and harsh words. We need to be respectful to this company that pulled halo up from what was supposed to be its final resting place and help us continue along on our journey. I see a lot of ungrateful people who forget that 343 isn’t Bungie… 343 is its’ own body now and the fact that they’ve worked so hard to keep Halo as true to itself as it is.
Really halo was starting to lag behind the competition and certain games who kept bringing new things to the table… or old things… or zombies… ANYWAYS… Forums aren’t here just for complaining. I for one think that it’s a shame that there aren’t more posts about just how much people like what 343 has done… a lot of people are nit picking… and that isn’t to say that they shouldn’t at all. It is how 343 learns and makes changes for future games… but you jerks who sit their berating the game to the point of downright slander or mentions of Boycotting the game need to shoo… let the people who can give constructive critiques without going on a tantrum do so, we really don’t need to get ugly about it…

I read a few years ago that Forums were supposed to be like an Online Gentlemen’s club and that was apparently very untrue.
From personal experience I can say Halo is in the right hands, and people who complain do so because they can’t accept change.
To those people, I say go play Halo 3, whilst the rest of us are playing Infinity Slayer on Solace. Or CTF on Exile. Or Dominion on Longbow. Or Flood on Complex. Or… Well, you get the idea.

I have never seen a forum without a certain kind of arguing, and this forum just doesn’t argue, we actually discuss and talk about Halo gameplay - Halo 4.

to clarify… I fully endorse people who critique… and even complain… it is useful… but please be a gentleman or lady about it. No need for insults.
It’s very nice to see some support for Halo 4… compared to the old reach Forums it is very positive but I am still sick of seeing tantrums… though I am still happy to see some level of healthy complaints

And that is why i’m very nervous about H4, I did not like the gimiks in CoD so I do not know if i would like them in Halo.

Congratulations, in your attempt to point out hypocrisy, you have become a hypocrite.
On topic, some discussions and complaints are necessary for the growth of a game, it’s how the developers see what went wrong and what needs to be improved. For instance, the thruster pack is something that the forums need to blow up on. In was awful in Reach and why they brought it back, no on knows. I do agree though, that it should not be so harsh. I mean there’s complaining, and then there’s trashing. On the Reach forums on Bungie, it was trashing.
