While it is true that we have only seen 20 seconds of actual game play from halo 4, there are a few things i would like to say. The maps, from what we have seen and heard, are made specifically for comppetitive ness, not taken from the campaign.
A perk system has been reported to have been implemented, and while many people are going to rage about this, i feel that 343 probably has a very good reason for this.
The game, with the addition of the perk system and the loadoats once again, looks amazing, and i trust 343 enough to say that, while people complain that its a Call of Halo, there is probably a really good reason for the addition. I look forward to seeing these perks in action, as they probably replace the AA or are at least part of them.
I would now like to take a look at possible perks. For those who have read the halo novels, you will remember Kelly-087 was the fastest spartan. A spead and jump height addition is likely one of the perk/armor enhancements. Linda-058 had the greatest accuracy, this leads me to beleive that an accuracy enchancement such as no bloom or smaller reticle on certain weapons (Like the dmr or br) has been added. There could be other spartan specilizations, like cqb giving someone stronger shields etc. Any other ideas?
I try to look at the game as positively as possible when i first see it, and from what i have seen and heard it retains a halo feel to it. FOr those who would complain, AA and loadouts can be turned off. For those who would complain about them being in the game at all, pogress is the only way we can evolve. They said from the beginning it would not be a reskin, it would have additives to it like they have always done, be thankful for that.
I’ll play the campaign. I’m not sure about multiplayer yet.

I feel sorry for the starving logic of my generation, who barely stops to consider the goods in something anymore, Truly, truly a sad ordeal.

Proof is all over this forum and in the articles in the form of all the -Yoink- 343 are adding to make this game have the lowest skill gap of any halo.
Why the -Yoink- must the game cater to no one but the bad players instead of to everyone like a real halo game.
Worst thing is, these balanced for bad player games just make it worse for them because they are easily exploit by anyone with any form of intelligence.

Dude, they saw a twenty second gameplay vid, and the items they are complaining about arent even in it. I think they should wait to complain to they know what they are dealing with. WOuldnt you agree? Its like watching a 2 minute recap of babies playing hockey and instantly deciding its a bad sport. Baseless accusations on something you know nothing about.

I don’t need to jump off a large bridge to know how terrible an idea jumping of a bridge is.
This crap, these gimmicks and this bad player balanced -Yoink- is not Halo. It is not good for Halo. It will not make Halo better.
It doesn’t really matter if perks have been confirmed or not… the majority of us Halo players don’t want them at all. I’ve always liked Halo because it stuck to its own ideas and has its own unique play style.
I’m way more bothered by the shoddy looking BR and Warthog than anything though.
