I have been noticing a decrease in people who once forged the halo family…
My main concerns of our family being close is that:
Nobody is tea bagging
Nobody is pummeling each other for fun in Flood
Almost no or little teamwork
Greedy players going for solo kills
And, yes, campers.
I don’t think you can blame a lack of teamwork on 343. I agree that in Halo 3 you could jump in a team slayer game and people would be talking and calling out even if it was only “1 no shield on my X”, but I believe that the reason for the lack of communication is that the CoD attitude is bleeding into our game. When Reach came out a lot of players, including me, dropped the game and the only other option for a smooth playing FPS on the Xbox is CoD. In CoD you jump into a TDM and there is no one talking unless they are playing music through their headset or yelling at other players. There was no teamwork and thats what a lot of players got use to. Now we have those players who got use to that coming back and hopefully it will change in the future.
Do you really think so? I think it might make some come away from it, but I’m really afraid that this is the new way games in general are going to be played.
Perhaps you are speaking for yourself? I have been doing team work, I get a lot of assists when people need help I come and protect them, I become the distraction(even get +5 for that now), I -Yoink!-, I beat up my teammates in Flood. Everything you stated seems to be the opposite of what I see and do.
i devote myself from here on out to -Yoink!- every kill i get, betray flood at the end of a game to -Yoink!- the last kill and will make those quad teams eat those quads!

I’m with you 100% but I don’t see this attitude coming from the community as a whole. I personally could care less about whether or not people -Yoink!- or beat up teammates in Flood, but I want to see people getting into games with randoms and going for a win like they did in H3 and I’m just not seeing it.
EDIT: but like I said earlier I don’t believe that it’s 343’s fault it isn’t happening.
I still think that maybe your just unlucky, the games that I have played were all pretty much teamwork. The reds come over the mountain trying to get our base? We all team up and kill them, getting assist or kills it doesn’t matter. We are all in the same place generally working together.

Just asking but can the holo gram still t-bag, I remember a vid coming out showing it t-bagging a dead body? is it still in or was it removed.

I’m glad thats your experience and I hope you are correct!
I’m a culprit now a days but Xbox Live party chat ruins this. I remember back to the Halo 2 days where you’d have teamwork with randoms. Now no one talks in game.
