Honestly Halo5 isnt my cup of tea…I get it we have new guns, new enemies, different variations of vehicles, and a different story…but what they hyped it up to be and no delivering it to home is whats killing me. And the Free DLC eh its okay…but its not really free considering we also get DLC based on how many Req Packs people buy with actual money…I can understand if they advertising for the HSC but if they are advertising and promising to listen to the community and saying they are gonna give back to us. I dont feel it. Not because oh everything is coming out slowly but because of the changes made to the story and multiplayer that feels like its restricting it.
Halo canon says that Spartans and Elites fight each other in combat situations, with training simulations…but then they turn around saying because they are Spartan 4’s they wont fight Elites/we wont get to play as Elites because of this.
Not only does this break lore ! This breaks what they said to us making me not trust them then what I already have…the Cortana surviving story…I dont even expect much from Campaign at this point because it feels cheesy as -Yoink-.
Not having your most popular old school gametypes already in the game…“Odd”
Then forcing then game to go “E-Sports” when the past couple of Halo’s have been more of community styled custom games.
I can get the fact your catering to an audience that has been around since 3 , and with the failed attempt at Halo 4. It feels like E-Sports is being shoved down our throats and it divides the community as a whole.
We are brothers and sisters forged under the same title as Spartans, and to others as Elites, but we are still a Halo community and these forum arguments are destroying us and has been since the launch of Reach. If we continue to make divided statements all 343 is gonna do is listen to one side at a time and give whoever, the gold while the other is left out. Hell I’ll skip a month or two of content if it helps them release what everyone wants so we can make the community a family again.
Who cares who’s making Halo? 343? Bungie? Honestly all that matters is we have a game and we need our voice to be hear so we get what we want, so this fighting can end…
This community has had some of the best moments competitive, custom games, machinma ! With a great story and progress from almost all directions.
Honestly we are just simulation troopers…right? …No can anyone tell me …do you ever wonder why we’re here ?

Many things. No microTs, no cut content, our weapons wouldn’t be obsolete, rich story, ect ect. It’s the norm for game devs these days so my expectation wasn’t to high, especially when bungie hadn’t made a game in 6 years when destiny launched.
