when I rage quit it’s because someone on the other team is lagging so far behind i’m dead and they’re no where to be seen. 33 minute ban because I quit a doubles match (which aren’t even -Yoinking!- ranked) where someone joins midgame anyways. Hey A$$holes don’t matchmake me with someone with a pi$$ poor connection or cheaters and I don’t quit. dear halo 5 arena, go F yourself again.
I think that the way you put isn’t a very formal way to go but I agree that at some occasions the ban system is unfair but I think that dealing with it is the best way to go.
And all of a sudden the algorithms and coding of the Halo 5 multiplayer banning system now understand that you, Sixty oz, quit because of lag. Because quitting for other reasons is the why you really get banned right?

…and I’ve gotten a ten minute ban recently for leaving a FFA game. This ‘cumulative’ crap needs to stop with the banhammer tracking. You can’t have it build slowly to critical mass and then ban someone for every other game they quit or disconnect when they’ve finished hundreds of games and (including DCs) DNF’d less than twenty, then expect people not to get mad.
Have a quit count as a +1 DNF on your card, then let’s say every five or even ten games you complete after that shaves one DNF off the internal tracker.
Dear quitters… you deserve week bans… five games in a row in war zone you whimps quit out as soon as you start losing… 343 should pool all you quitters together and players who have a pair and can finish games together.

Maybe some of you didn’t understand the fact that It’s a doubles game. When 1 person is lagging it’s unplayable, because there’s only 2 people on the other team to shoot. I don’t quit because I’m losing. You can see I have some games with one kill and I finish them. I played the next game with a good connection and then the ban kicks in. I have young kids, sometimes I DNF because I can’t F. I payed the same amount for the game as everyone else, Major selling point being the online multiplayer. Yeah I’m whining, can’t exactly scream at my TV so I wanted to scream on here so I don’t wake my kids up.

The amount of people that quit and get banned for it is odd. I would bet it’s because the lack of social playlists.
I don’t wander over here too much tbh unless there’s an issue, usually xbox live is the culprit there though.

I don’t know why they don’t have a ranked and equal social playlist. Or more variety in general, Arena is very limited.
I just played a match after not really playing since before the overgrowth dlc.
I played a match of team doubles and my team member was AFK so I was getting stomped.
So I quit, first time in forever. And I get banned

yeah i just played a match by myself got wrecked, it sucked. I only got to 12 before the other team got 30.
Excessively quitting games: Keep ban hammer.
Disconnecting due to internet problems resulting in a ban: 343 please fix that.

Im not sure I believe that considering I’ve counted over 24 DNF’s in your game history (most of them in December for both Arena and Warzone) The system doesnt just reset them over time, it holds onto it and reads it like a pattern, if you keep quitting, it’ll keep banning.
