We all get that you don’t like sprint and think that it “ruins halo” but guess what, its here to stay there’s no getting rid of it.
I do have a solution that will go a long way to making everyone happy.
A Classic Halo Playlist, where sprint and all the armor abilities are turned off. Now this might not work on current maps but we do have forge so we can always make new maps centered around this.
So if you hate sprint or even just think this sounds like a fun idea, get campaigning for a classic halo playlist rather than -Yoinking!- about how the glory days of halo are gone and how sprint has ruined everything.
We can have the best of both worlds.

I like his suggestion. Don’t be such a troll. If you don’t like sprint, there’s always Halo MCC.
I don’t think you will ever win over anti-sprinters through discussion. They will either learn to like it on their own accord, or not.
But there’s a bunch of negative effects on the game that are due to sprint. Why would people not point those out?
I’m surprised anti-sprint is a thing still considering how its been in the last 3 Halo titles
Next year the last Halo game to not have sprint will be 10 years old and they’re still fighting the good fight…
Or how about we have a modern playlist instead, and let the classic style dominate most of the game? I’d be up for that.

The only thing I hate about the anti-sprint threads is the sheer number of them.
Mods need a combine thread option.
Much like how there is one big split screen thread… their should be just one for each major topic.

Again, people defended loadouts and ordnance the same way people defend sprint. Some people liked those things, yet they still were removed. Back then people said anti loadout/ordnance were the minority, and now you say anti sprint is the minority. The cycle keeps going doesn’t it?

I haven’t seen it that way… Could be my own bias of course. Regardless, sprint has maintained; those elements did not.
I would say Halo 5 was the first Halo game I was ok with sprint after playing it. I would prefer it gone, but Halo 5 made it acceptable to me. What I HATE is that because of how weak it is in Halo 5, Spartan Charge has to implemented to make sprinting indirectly stronger by tying offensive abilities to it. My only huge issue with sprint in H5 is spartan charge.

Sprint saw quite some nerfs Halo 4 > Halo 5.
Either way, I’m sure there are plenty of things any majority would like for Halo, but wouldn’t fit etc. Meaning Minority vs Majority issues aren’t really relevant. Then again, you could always say that I’m saying that in order to invalidate the majority’s opinion aside because I belong in a minority. Though I assure you that’s not the case.
Sprint is just another feature that is as easily removable in any future Halo as all those elements.
