The fact that people won’t buy the game just because there isn’t playable elites is just stupid.

Oh god! Are you serious?
everything the community wants?? Elites are in every single halo since H2!! 343 just cut them off without reason! It was something already there!!
You are right my pal when you say it’s not the end of the world. That’s fine. But i repeat: It is the fact that they cut them off without reason! Why?? This is bad for 343. It’s all about the feedback they received in the last years and they screwed up with this! They knew that people love elites!
Aaaahhh good days when Reach came out with invasion!

Warzone looks to be 100x better than invasion.
And they have a reason for not including Elites. It breaks their canon for multiplayer. Do I agree with that? Maybe, maybe not. But again…The world wont end and Halo wont die because elites are not included. Clearly they are not included in the Warzone game type. But that is seperate from the other game modes. So it is entirely that they will be included in those. Maybe not at launch. 343i has not mentioned it. At the Rooster teeth panel it seemed like they misunderstood the answer given.
Dude… I don’t mean to be rude (your entitled to your opinion, and have the right to be upset about this stuff), but if you won’t buy the game because elites aren’t playable… that’s really unwise… Although your post seems not to point in this direction. so good for you.
The main problem with elites is the hitbox and where their stupid head is (and the size). It’s not good for balance and competitive play. It’s not a huge issue really. I understand the nostalgia factor (we all have something), But please keep in mind that it’s probably for the best.

There are many topics (Not just the Elite in multiplayer topic) that they have completely ignored. For example,
Game Types
Forge Options
Multiplayer (Various)
Armor customization
Now I am also not saying its the end of the world nor that they never listen to the community. But what has come to the conclusion from many many people is they don’t listen to the actual community, its more so, a few specific gamers and actually employees. Much of the community have requested clarification on many things and reasoning why they don’t do/add certain things. The answer is always the same… “Because we feel fit that it won’t work.” Now if it won’t work… Then why has it worked in the past? Why have things people had before that are now gone for unknown reasons just “Don’t Work anymore.”

I did not say me… I said people I know.
Now to address the hitbox problem. Instead of having large ornate pieces of armor that you could shoot and you would get a head shot, make it so it actually has to hit the head/mandible area not 1 feet above the head and you get a head shot. Also for the body size issue… People want a challenge, elites have always been large and muscular so you can’t change that but what you could do is make certain things more cannon instead of having random things here and there. Its the simple fact that, it seems that they want the easy way out for everything and not a community loving franchise. Just over the past few years the community has been leaving the actually community and just playing halo for its campaign.
Also as I said before not everything is always gonna be perfectly balanced because lets face it… Who wants a game where no matter what weapon/armor/vehicle you choose its almost the same as the others… Its challenge and difference that people love to Homogeneous and easiness.

Not sure what you mean with Forge options. Forge was in Halo 5 last I checked.
Multiplayer…What?
Armor customization…Is in the game. I guess you cannot just change every piece. I kinda wish it was the Halo 3 way. But I am fine with how it is.

Have you guys read Hunters in the Dark yet (came out yesterday)? I’m only halfway through but I’m pretty sure Olympia Vale has a thing for Elites.
Also as to OP’s argument, I am sure the two dozen fans who won’t buy Halo 5 because they can’t dress up as Elites in MP aren’t a particular concern for 343i.
I think Elites in a casual MP mode like Warzone would be a cool feature and makes a lot of sense, but lord, from the way the “Sangheili Community” acts, you’d think this omission was the same as 343 turning Halo into a JRPG MMO or something.

I did not say it was just Halo 5 exclusive. For example the Master chief collection, Almost 99% of the community requested that all armor in all games should be customizable… What did they do? Made it so each armor is a specific uniform and non customizable. Also When Halo 4 was first relieved they wanted a large map like forge world from halo reach… What did they do? Give a small as heck map and call it forge world. Another example is the armor issue, certain armor that has been released for the MCC was completely non-cannon and still is non-cannon and they don’t even make a response on it. A multiplayer thing the community wanted was certain game types from the past to be brought back and they completely ignored it.
I do not want everything relieved for Halo 5. What I meant is both Past and Future game issues/wants that the community has addressed and have been completely ignored.

That is what I am trying to express, I don’t expect it to be in every mode but at least some sort of either custom game or standard matchmaking have it at least be an option for players. It honestly does not take much work for them to do it. Its the figure of laziness at this point.
The main reason the Elite community is behaving the way it is, is the fact they are being neglected and there are hundred of thousands of them if not more. MCC screwed them over in the H2 anniversary, Halo 4 there was nothing, There is nothing in any spartan assaults (Understandable).

You said Elites would be a useless re-skin, which is kinda… exactly what female Spartan models are.

You are very blinded by false doctrine just like the covenant thinking that “The Great Journey” is a good thing. You do realize that Halo 4 had the most sales by far of any Halo game out there right, so where do you get your false information, did you pull that out of your -Yoink-? Out of all the time I’ve been in Halo forums and other websites, I have never heard about talks and complaints minus a very very few and far in between about people wanting Elites back in multiplayer. The biggest majority of people hated Elites being playable and in multiplayer, because it unbalanced the game. Not by much but enough to be annoying. So come back when you have actual numbers of fact and truth, and do not make things up just because you think that you are close with your guessing.

No, the main problem is foolish thinking such as yours. If you cannot adapt to a new target on the battlefield, then you are a bad soldier. A good soldier will know to change tactics based on enemies he encounters, and events which occur. If that enemy just so happens to be a split mandible digitigrade reptilian humanoid, then adapt to it. Even so, could 343 not have restricted playable Elites to the social playlists? Could they not have made specific playlists suited for their inclusion? Could they not have thought out solutions to these proposed issues?
