Hopefully this thread hasn’t been made countless times so far but if it has I apologies.
Specifically directed to the visual designers of H4’s Spartan Amour I humbly request that you guys bring back older armor designs or redesign older amour designs but redesign them, “modestly”. This is especially the case for helmets.
Although from what I’ve seen from the rest of the armor being released most of it looks amazing IMO but a couple of the new helmet design seem unappealing to me and I support people who are uneasy with visor less helmets as well.
But I just want to make it clear that 95% of the armor designs look incredible from helmet to boot and the art direction is like nothing I’ve ever seen. You guys are doing an amazing job!
There is bad looking armor in the game, but it is much too late in the game’s development to create new designs or dramatically change those already in place.
They could theoretically take the ugly armor out, but I personally would rather they leave it in, so I can just not use that particular armor but others can if they want.
It was someone’s job to design those helmets, and our community has been so rude and close-minded towards 343i trying to innovate in this department. We should be ashamed as true fans of Halo. We need to give it a chance.

Just noticing, your statement is concurrent with your name ^.^
But I like to believe that these are simply the craziest helmets to show off what they’ve got. They’ll have remakes of old, it’ll be fine. More “normal” helmets as well.

I think you’ve misunderstood me. I don’t want any armor already established to be change an I am fully aware that that is not even a possibility. This is directed to the possibility of 343i creating more armor selections.
But regardless, I honestly enjoy the style and creativity of each and every design. I am in no way bashing on these designs, just to clarify. This is merely a request.
A handful of the armours do look quite odd and silly, yes, but I gotta admit that I love them anyway. Scanner helmet? Give me that and I’ll wear it any day!

I don’t like the look of most helmets, but luckily a couple do stand out for me so I’m not so bothered by it. However I would still like to see the return of some of the classic designs from the past games.
