This post is hard for me to write, very hard, I don’t really know where to begin. So, I guess I’ll just begin

I have been playing Halo since I was 10 years old and have loved every single on e of them. Halo is one of the only games I have ever been good at.

I have built hundreds of relationships on Halo, some of my best friends I met on Halo.

The reason I write to you today, is because today, I desperately tried to enjoy Halo 5… to no avail

Halo 5 is by far one of the most unenjoyable multiplayer experiences of my life. Let me explain why

Halo 5, isn’t Halo. It’s alienated itself from every other game. It doesn’t even feel like Halo at any point
Halo is about friends, sitting on a couch laughing and having a good time. Halo is about an epic story line and epic music. Halo is supposed to be even and different than all the other games.

Do you see the problem? 343? Please tell me you do.

You’re missing the point. You’re trying to be different, trying distinguish yourself from Bungie. You’re trying to tell the world that you’re 343 not Bungie. So do that by making the games better, not making a whole different game entirely.

343, I have loved Halo for a long time. It’s helped me through some hard times and I’ve always been faithful, but 343, you guys are destroying it.

Get rid of these Spartan abilities, get rid of warzone, get rid of ads. Make Halo, Halo again. Please.

Judging by the fact that you’ve logged an hour of game time and only played 3 total games, I’m going to say you need to play it some more and give it more of a chance…

why do people refer to it as “my halo series”, always wondered that.

When I read stuff like this I always find myself wishing the OP had just come out and said “Halo isn’t Halo without split screen.” Because, honestly, that’s all I got out of that whole thing. “Get rid of warzone?” Really?

How many chances should we give 343 yet for their garbage or fail products?! After so many years, can we not finally expect a single success?!

Ok, I’m going to put this to rest right now. If you want to blame anyone for the lack of split screen, blame Microsoft for putting out such an under powered console. The reason split screen isn’t in Halo 5 is because the system wouldn’t be able to run at 60 fps constantly. If you want to argue that frame rate isn’t an issue and you would be fine with a 30 fps game, go play reach for a few matches and come back after. It’s terrible and absolutely unplayable. Like playing a game with a flip book monitor. If you look at previous interviews about split screen, they said it was going to be put in, they were working on it. They took it out because it just isn’t feasible with the Xbox One’s hardware. Yes, it really sucks that split screen isn’t in the game but 343 isn’t to blame for this. It’s Microsoft.

What I can gather is it isn’t Halo anymore because you don’t like it. No splitscreen? You’re beating a decomposed horse my friend. It was beaten to death months before the game even released. Get rid of Spartan abilities and warzone? I personally enjoy the Spartan abilities and warzone is good when the servers don’t blow. I love Halo as well so your opinion is as good as mine when it comes to this game. I like it, you don’t. Simple as that. Nothing’s gonna change unless the whole community gets behind a singular idea, kinda like how Microsoft’s tune changed when they realized their original plan with the Xbox one sucked royally.

I don’t talk about H5. I talk about the overall from 343 and the massive failures over the years. And from what I heard and see, H5 in my eyes isn’t a success and not what I want, one reason why I don’t and never will buy it. Period.

I think YOU are missing the point when you say get rid of Warzone. It has been the best part of H5 for me at least, and is generally liked by a majority of the players that I have talked to or have voiced their opinion on the forums. No doubt it could use some tweaks here and there but overall is a good addition.

I need a little bit more insight as to what was wrong with the music too? And what you expect or mean by epic story?

Dude, there is already a Halo out like that. It’s called Halo CE. Go back and play that if that’s what you want. The point of making a new game each year is to make it different. If you want to play the same game each year with a little upgraded graphics go play Call of Duty. There would be no point in making a game if they didn’t make changes.

Underpowered? Name a console that has more power than the Xbox One. PS4 has pretty much the same exact specs.
