Seriously, this checkpoint save system is ridiculous. I’m running through the game on Legendary, so you can imagine my frustration when I make it through one of the more difficult sections of a level, clearly see that I reach a “checkpoint” (and see the “checkpoint” dialog disappear btw), pause, then save and quit my game, only to “Resume” the campaign several sections earlier and having to run through the difficult section all over again!!! This has happened over a dozen times now and costed me countless hours in finishing this game.
Why is it so freaking hard to simply have a Save Game button on the pause menu? Games have had that since the early 90’s, so this isn’t some revolutionary new idea I’m bringing up here!
… Other than that, great game!
