They ARE fixing it. They’re just explaining to us what was and IS wrong, for the sake of transparency.
I really, really appreciate it and it helps to illustrate the wide breatdh of issues the game faces.

I just appreciate they are actually using the website to talk about news stuff instead of splitting it between forums, reddit, and twitter.
I’m also glad this is just telling us what’s going on. Not trying to defend themselves or stay silent on the issue. Actually saying in one place “yes, we are working on this and this is how.”
This is the transparency I expected. Its a shame we had to be so impatient and we’re in this place in the first place. Staying silent doesn’t make them move any faster, but telling us what they are doing is reassuring.
All that being said they kind of excuse the people dying around corners thing to being “We don’t want players to lead their shots”
Like, if I have to lead my shots to make the game consistent, then I’ll lead my shots! I’m pretty sure that’s why weapons like the Stalker Rifle don’t work half the time!

They did a great job explaining it and that post had some great visuals so we understand why it is happening.

i remember them saying something along those lines in the post… and i got so mad when hearing this. like yeah, obviously, but that doesn’t excuse yours being worse than them
it really feels like 343 doesn’t care about the servers. either that or they just really don’t know what they’re doing, instead over explaining to make it seem like they do

There are no solutions of any substance in this blog post that I can see.
I’m in East coast US and was still getting put into 150+ ping games on occasion this afternoon.
343 are blowing smoke, making excuses, and gaslighting everyone. Their netcode is garbage and they’re just pretending everything is fine except for some minor bugs. The foundation of their whole house is crooked and they wrote a long blog post about how they are working to patch up some cracks in the drywall.

Except they are bulling about geofiltering. Even if what they said about geofiltering was true, it brings up the question of : WHO THE HELL DESIGNED THIS AND WHY ARE THEY USING IT?

343, masters of incompetence and inexplicably dumb design decisions, designed it this way.
They designed a game with a UI that limits how many playlists can be in the game, and with netcode where one person can in effect control everyone else’s connection to the server.
The work uniform at this company should be a clown suit.

Hah they probably either don’t know how to fix it and/or cannot fix it because this engine is a garbage pile. I gave up on this sloppy mess of what you can sort of call a “game”. 343 are stupid, greedy, and lazy… I have 0 expectations and hope for them, you might be wise to join the club.

Plate is full of what? This should’ve been one if not the first issue fixed since it is the CORE GAMEPLAY. This problem is more important than ALL others. There’s no defending these decisions or their lack of outcome. Funny how you come on this thread and say “Just deal with it or stop playing” (Lazy mindset) yet you were just complaining about spending money on micros like an idiot and wanting reimbursed. Ah the entitled youth in 2022.

The right thing is halting all store updates until the core gameplay is fixed. They’re ignorant for releasing this garbage like this and then taking this long to communicate. Then on top of it they won’t just come out and admit they don’t know how and cannot fix the dsync issues. Get real…

Agreed. I don’t even understand half of it. But I guess it’s better they explain other than just say “We’re working on it”
