Dear 343: Please let me turn off vibration

Hi 343,
Just wanted to start off by saying great job on halo 5. Love it.

That being said, I just have one request. For the love of God, please let me turn off the vibration.

A long time ago, there was once an xbox that allowed players to globally turn off vibration. Ever since then I have played every game without it. I guess you can say I got used to it.

But now, since the xbox one was built without the amazing ability to globally turn off vibration, I was forced to play bf4 with vibration because they forgot to implement the option to turn it off. And all I can say is that it was just awful. My fingers became utterly confused with this new invasive, jolting sensation that coursed down to the very core of my being making any attempt at a headshot a complete failure. So what did I do? I stopped playing. And I haven’t touched the game since because I couldn’t stand how the game made my controller resemble one of those adult, female recreational toys.

I fear that this will happen with halo. So please, I implore you, implement the option to turn vibration off while we’re still in the beta.

Sincerely,
A loyal Halo fan

I’m pretty sure you should be able to. I think I remember turning it off in the pre-beta, although I may be wrong. Its most likely a bug that its not showing up in the menu. I’m just going to unplug all the rumble motors in my controller so I don’t have to thing about it for future games.

I’m sure by the full game it’ll be implemented.

It won’t be an option in the beta unfortunately, but it has been flagged and will be available in the final release

How are you so sure about this?

Josh tweeted about it earlier. Sorry I meant to link it in my post
