Let me first start by saying I truly love this game. I was VERY skeptical at first. But having played the game you guys nailed it!
The weapons and vehicles are ALL perfectly balanced. Even the Mantis! Please just let the whiners whine. They will still play. They need to just learn the game the same as the rest of us instead of all of us having to RE-LEARN it. This is easily the most balanced of all the Halos with each weapon being different from the next and all serving their own purpose. I love the variety of load outs with different weapons. I actually feel like each weapon has its own specific purpose of the battlefield.
I make this desperate plea to you to not cave to whiners. My friends and I all agree you nailed it out the gate and that is hard to do.
LEAVE HALO 4 ALONE! Just give us new maps here and their and we will be fine.
Nothing is worse than when the developers start changing everything little thing about the game multiple times in order to try to satisfy everyone, and then causing more complaints in the process.
Usually playlist updates (such as adding SWAT) are fantastic though.

I’ve gotten a perfection with the mantis. It’s just used differently than most vehicles, you can’t go charging in right away with it.
I agree with the OP. So far, Halo 4 is the most well-balanced Halo title since Halo CE. I was shocked the first time I took out a Mantis, and how easy it was with a little team work, and how effective the AR is. Halo 4’s sandbox is brilliant, and I hope it is never messed with.
You’re friends like Halo 4? For years I could never find anyone who liked Halo. Always CoD this and CoD that.

I make 5 Reach Custom Maps and I can’t play em with anyone! And to make it worse I accidentally deleted them!
Anyways, once file-share is fixed, you should check out my mini-map designed for close-combat and long range encounters using two levels and balance. It is an Erosion variant named Drought. It’s good, but only works if you have enough people. I’m going to add more to it if people like it. It’s also quadruple-symmetrical.
PLEASE 343/CA FIX THE FILE-SHARE!!!

Partial agreement with OP. I think my only qualms right now are the Carbine needs a VERY slight damage boost, as well as the Plasma pistol against unshielded targets. Everything else is great.
The game is fine the only thing that breaks it is the New Halo 3 BR(DMR. See what I did there?) Unless you have an autosentry with an assault rifle class will you stand a chance against a DMR user.
I love this game as well. My favorite Halo so far =] But I won’t go as far as to say NOTHING needs fixed. There are quite a few little issues. But they are just that…little issues.
Weapons seem balanced quite well imo, along with most other things.
Aside from maybe Armour Abilities. Thrust could be better, Promethean Vision however just seems way too good though.
