please put more ranked playlists in Reach so it can be as addictive as H3 and H2, social playlists are so inconsequential and boring I struggle to play more than a few games a day.
In case you haven’t noticed, Arena is pretty much dead, and not enough people play Reach to get into serious ranked playlists. Everyone plays BTB or Living Dead, or TS, Or SWAT. I’d love ranked playlists, but it’s far too late for their inclusion to be worthwhile now.
the way matchmaking is right now is fine this ISNT halo3 if you want ranked go back to halo 3
I think Halo reach could become more competitive if 343 makes it more like halo 3 and the good old BR days. no bloom (obviously some play-testing to balance with other weapons)and nerfed armor lock(plasma grenades don’t fly off).

What part of "if you want H3, go play H3, did you not understand? This is REACH, NOT H3. It should stay that way.
Instead of complaining, how about playing Halo 3? If you don’t like Reach, then go back and insert your Halo 3 Disc to your Xbox.

Arena is pretty much done-for in terms of population. It was made as if people would play it a lot, and the system starts getting weird when the playlist gets only 2,000 players per day. I’m sure it could fetch some more players if there were a major update, but we need at least 5,000 to start with before we start talking about another ranked playlist.

I can deal with the imbalances on maps like Asylum. I cannot deal with always spawning on the bottom floor because the other team decided to hold red side Sword Base on me.

I can do that in 5 minutes in a custom game option - probably less.
The only time consuming part of that would be to mold the 85% bloom option to the Arena settings - which would be to take out all AAs except Sprint and Hologram.

It’s the simplest fix for Arena. Reflection can be fixed by changing the initial spawns and weapon spawn locations, but for the simplest quickest fix, remove it because 1 team (red) still spawns with a huge advantage.

Just because you can do in like 5 minutes doesn’t mean it’s that easy on the programming level of things. Do you have any idea how long it takes to code these games? A damn long time! Your way of an easy fix is fine for custom games, not when it comes down to coding.

Have you ever coded a game before? Judging by your insistance on it being an easy fix, I’d so no. It takes time to code things. Go play child. Leave the coding to the pros.

they’ve already done the coding part with the TU, they just have to pull the gametype from the other playlists and adjust the loadouts to fit arena.
the thing is the servers though, it’s probably more to it then a quick adjustment.
