Not true negative opinion’s are welcome.

Half these people that don’t like the game seem to have started on Halo 2-3 or Reach and haven’t even seen the full Halo story or have taken time to read the books, but I have and I absolutely love the game you have produced. The story was compelling and the multi-player is fun, there are annoying times sure (BOLTSHOT CAMPERS >:@) but that is because of annoying people, not because the game is “bad” as some say.

you said it, keep it up
Why are all of these non offensive posts being censored? It’s a forum for a rated m game… Anyway I love halo four.

If you don’t want attention, stop telling me that I’m digging a hole for myself.
On topic: OP made some pretty inaccurate statements, and I simply told him that they were incorrect. If we’re suddenly moderating every post that has an opinion in it, then what’s to discuss? If we can’t argue over opinions (which is how the world works), then forums are essentially useless to 90% of their population.

Halo 4’s story is great. I love it. However, multiplayer is not good. It is okay, which is WAY better than reach, but it is not good.
You say that it is annoying at times because of annoying people and not because of the game, but what you fail to comprehend is that if a game has the potential to be abused, then it isn’t a good game.
A good game is designed in a way that prevents abuses. You can’t blame the people who play the game for a poorly designed mechanic.
It would be like if I made a fighting game where one character can shoot a huge, high damage fire ball that is impossible to dodge and can be spammed easily, and then expect the people to not abuse that tactic.
It is not their fault for using the best tactic and wanting to win. It is the developers fault for creating a stupid mechanic that is easy to abuse.

Halo Waypoint truly has turned into a backwards behind-kissing contest where there is literally no room for discussing how broken Halo 4 really is.
I haven’t even bothered picking up Halo 4 even post-patch because it just doesn’t interest me anymore and they’ve done too little too late.
The reason that the posts have been moderated is because they are flat out telling someone their opinion is wrong, as it is only an opinion it can not be wrong. < Logic. Enjoy your day.
PS. It is also naive to rip on a game company for their first game and it’s mistakes, while you sit in front of your computer being negative and never doing anything better then they have.

We are the critics. Had they released a BETA many posts had avoided

View “A Timbers Fan” on page 7, post number 17. He gives his response as to why he claims it. Besides if you want to defend your statements it would be smart to respond to everyone equally and not just the people who agree with you. You are avoiding the questions!

Halo 4 is their first true own game. (They created Halo: CEA) However they are certainly not as green as grass. 343i was marketed as a studio that were all the employees are huge Halo fans. While the devs are among the best in the industry. So the excuse that Halo 4 is their “first” game is invalid.
Besides what do you expect when the game suddenly takes this path even after the community outcry from Reach.
the only thing wrong with halo 4 is no multi team.
one word… “Aliens”.

QFT.
Unfair treatment towards both sides of the argument, and I’ve already established that some “opinions” (which is a very, very, very loose term ) can, in fact, be incorrect.
PS. I’m not catering the hate comments because there are more then enough hate threads for them to go on, this is a happy thread for people who appreciate the game.

Judging by the reactions, only a few people appreciate the game.
It may be a good game, but it’s definitely not a good Halo game, and that’s why the population is shrinking every day.
> PS. It is also naive to rip on a game company for their first game and it’s mistakes, while you sit in front of your computer being negative and never doing anything better then they have.
The fact that Halo 4 is 343i’s first major game is irrelevant considering that they are dealing with a 10+ year old franchise instead of a completely new IP.
I quite enjoy the game as well OP. Not perfect by any means, but love all 3 aspects and have played every halo game as well. This is not the worst halo game imo, but nor is it the best. Looking forward to what 343 does on their 2nd attempt. Cheers!

I’m not a 343 employee but I found this the other day which you might be interested to read:
> Was the armor that was available in the PAX build the full set? If so, why is there no Mark V armor?
> The PAX build contains the full set of armor in Halo 4. In the final game, there are a variety of methods for unlocking armor and armor skins - ranking up, earning commendations, progressing through Specializations and completing goals on Waypoint. Some of the skins, helmets, and the FOTUS armor are exclusive to various retail offers. Some of these items MAY become available to all players at a later date. We wanted to focus on the Spartan-IV armors for Infinity, maximizing the amount of variety across the armor designs. However, we did want to include a reward for completing the Campaign on Legendary, so we decided to use the Mark VI armor as that reward. While we’d love to include every historical variant of the Chief’s armor, it’s just not possible to fit more armor sets into the available memory.
Which is why I can’t wait for the day when Halo finally goes to the PC where it is no longer restricted by ever ageing hardware.
But of course because Microsoft is using Halo as the one game to push their console into the spotlight that’ll never happen and we will never experience Halo without any restrictions let it be graphical, content, or multiplayer-wise (aka the player count limit enforced on console editions of BF3 that the PC does not have).
