Dear 343 fan boys

Next time you see a person complaining about a missing feature, game mode, vehicle, weapon, poor UI, gameplay please shut the hell up:) I find it funny how the people who were against adding in a UNSC air vehicle and defended 343 with their lives are now sucking 343’s -Yoink- now that they finally added in the wasp. I’ve got news for you fan boys, the criticisms and complaints people make about this game are what makes it better. If we didn’t complain about the lack of UNSC air vehicle we would have never got it. Keep that in mind, complaints and criticism shape this game.

Though I do like 343 there is truth to what you say. Constructive criticism is important.

I like 343 to, they genuinely care about halo, but they do make allot of stupid decisions which make the games worse. The fan boys who defend those decisions despite being shown evidence are what hurts the game. More you complain the better the game.

It all depends on whether we put emphasis on constructive, or criticism.

People who defend 343 without a lot of reasoning behind it aren’t helping very much, I agree.

But let’s not pretend that the detractors are any better at times. For example, like how people are blowing the whistle on the Wasp being a Phaeton reskin before gameplay gets released showing how it plays. Or offering any compelling reason behind it other than “It’s a single seater”. Not that it wouldn’t be an unjustified fear, just that it’s a bit too early to make the assumption beforehand as though it’s a given.

EDIT: I’ve always felt that criticism is best when it’s well thought out, myself.

I could go into how the Phaeton and the Hornet aren’t exactly dissimilar in function (and the Wasp being the progression of the latter) but that would make too much sense.

At least the people who complain have good reason to. People have been begging 343 for years (since halo 4) to put in a cooperative vehicle, hornet or falcon. 343 has not made a single cooperative vehicle as of yet.The warthog is the only real cooperative vehicle in game. So people are rightly annoyed at the fact after years of asking for a UNSC air vehicle (ones which already exist) we get a single seater. We already have the banshee and the phaeton, people are annoyed that 343 still havn’t given us a cooperative vehicle yet.

I think they already planned this, monthly updates etc and also maybe just coincidence that players whine about it. But also it comes late. But i dont care, i like more new stuff

There is a difference from bring constructive criticism to this, and bashing 343. There is a line. A lot of people don’t seem to know/care where and how that line gets crossed. We have known that they were planning to add one in before launch. It was only a matter of time before it happened

The UNSC air vehicle was absent in halo 4 (the crappy pelican mission doesn’t count). If people didn’t complain then they wouldn’t have “planned to add one in before launch”.

Technically… you’re forgetting the Wraith and the Scorpion, but you’re right. 343i has not made a co-op vehicle. The only two vehicles they have made are the Mantis and the Phaeton. Would a co-op vehicle be cool? Yes, I think so. Do I think that they should have had a Hornet or Falcon? Sure I do… But I’m not going to look a gift horse in the mouth either. I’m excited to have a new vehicle and be able to try it out. Maybe it can be a stepping stone towards a co-op UNSC Vehicle.

So because you and many others have complained about their not being an air vehicle they brought one? You do know that at launch they already said they were adding one right? You or anyone else’s complaining had nothing to do with it.

You understand the complaints started at halo 4 right? (when 343 removed the UNSC air vehicle). Our complaining started then, that is what made them confirm a UNSC air vehicle for halo 5

Still they were planning to add it anyway.

Maybe if BOTH sides weren’t so hostile to each other we would get somewhere…

You’re not being very constructive with that post there, mate. This’ll most likely get locked.

There is a difference between constructive criticism and whining and complaining…keep it professional!

We were never sure of that. They said a unsc aerial vehicle will be added in a halo game, not necessarily halo 5.

I probably criticize 343 the most out of all their “fanboys” because I do get displeased by some of their choices, but stuff about the Wasp being a direct result of falcon complaining and reasonable UNSC Aircraft feedback are a huge misunderstanding and have no correlation between them and the wasp. 343 reported that they were working on the content for free DLCs months before the request for an UNSC aircraft.

The constructive criticism is definitely good to help shape future Halo games, but most of the content in the free DLCs that we’ve been given notice of were already planned out prior to any criticism that is being given.

Yeah I love 343, but like I’ve said in another post the campaign could have been better.
p.s. Still think that Microsoft had something to do with halo 5’s story.

Can’t we all just get along? OP everyone is entitled to their opinion, and to voice said opinion.
