What? No! I have nothing against the twitch drops on sunday, and I don’t want them to be broadcasting it at a later time in Europe. This is about the specification of having to watch the FINALS specifically. For the charm it doesn’t matter at what time you watch. And the event starts at 6 or 7 in the evening here in Europe. So a simple solution would be to get the coating for watching on sunday, but remove the specification of the finals. That way, people can watch sunday at 6, or 9 or whatever time they want, but they don’t need to stay up till 3 at night.
Valencia’s GF had a specific item, as far as I can remember.
ANZ GF will likely also have an item.

The whole idea is to get people to ‘watch’ the finals though. They’re not going to change that.
They already offer drops that you can get for ‘watching’ any other time during the weekend.
These are simply traffic drivers. I wouldn’t even have a Twitch account otherwise.
It sucks for different timezones, but people still manage to ‘watch’.

Honestly I wish they just axed the twitch drops entirely. It’s just another thing to add to this game that’s totally unobtainable depending on money, time, or specific promotions. There’s a reddit thread going round right now that notes only 4.5% of the cosmetics in this game are neither time limited nor paid, and of those many of them are just the default coatings & armor pieces.

There is clearly no chance that anyone will be able to unlock everything so I’m not sure why people still have FOMO. We’re going to miss out on things.
My issue is, I tend to only like one of something enough to use it. Without the ability to save builds of armor combinations, I just stick to the same one and ignore almost everything I unlock. The same extends to all the other customization.
So it eventually becomes pointless to collect stuff
I completely agree. I’ve only ever used one core and I haven’t changed anything other than a visor colour in months (I’m waiting for those shiny yellow skins).
Yep, this Twitch drop FOMO, needs to go. If you watched an hour on Sunday, that should be enough.
I’m looking at the remaining 14% of time (less than 20min) remining for the Holy Flare charm. While the deadline is Monday morning, or about 30 hours from now, @HCS and @Halo have no scheduled broadcast. Maybe they will broadcast tomorrow, but I won’t be around to see.
