I’d like to start off and say this is just my perspective and opinion as a fan for the Halo franchise. I’m aware that Halo means a lot to some fans and means very little to others as well. I’m also aware that some fans miss Bungie working on Halo and do not enjoy 343 Industries while other fans are not concerned and are happy Halo is still being pushed forward. I enjoyed Halo 4 very much and thought the story was a good one as well. I enjoyed the multiplayer as well and all its features from customization of your Spartan, Spartan Ops and its game functionally. Changes can be rough to deal with and are commonly met with a negative acceptance. A lot of us miss Cortana ( I miss her ) and dislike or hate the fact she was killed off ( for now )in the franchise. I’m pretty aware Microsoft studio’s and 343 Industries are aware of fans love for all characters in the franchise but change is needed to survive past its origin. I would be personally be disappointed as a fan and gamer if there was no evolutionary change in this franchise to keep me interested playing this game. I would be disappointed if I was able to play as Master Chief with Cortana dealing with the same enemies with the same threats and dangers as Halo 1-3. That’s just me. The forerunners introduction in Halo 4 was awesome to me and I enjoyed “alien” experience 343 Industries provided as you journey through the game. I’m excited to experience more of this old mentioned race that we did not get to experience in previous Halo games. I welcome the change in the approach in the Halo franchise. I enjoy the conflict 343 Industries and Microsoft studio’s for Spartan 117 future. I find it all refreshing and exciting to experience in game. I’m excited for the multiplayer experience they have set as well. I’m aware a lot of fans don’t like change because of how much they may care for these characters and the potential threat of be written off. I truly get that. Relive those moments of nostalgia by replaying the previous Halo games in my opinion. It’s still fun to replay those old Halo titles in my opinion but the Halo universe must thrive and expand and I’m excited to see where 343 Industries push the franchise with Microsoft studio’s. All this is just my perspective and opinion and by no means what so ever I’m a down playing any other persons opinion or feelings as I write this. We all have opinions and we all get to express those opinions even thou we may not agree or see eye to eye on certain subjects. I’m glad I get to post my opinion and views on something I did not create nor work on but enjoy so much. And please pardon my errors as you read this post. I corrected as typed and noticed them.
