Warzone is clearly a big focus for Halo 5’s multiplayer, and it does look fantastic. However unfortunately, the maps and game modes for warzone cannot be altered by the player due to how complicated they are. Though, if players could mess with warzone, there is no doubt the first thing players make would be an infection map.
Infection is easily one of the largest casual game modes in halo, so why not bring it to warzone? With the large maps and a high player count, infection would be more fun and intense than ever before. This hybrid could be called Deadzone, and would be on a separate playlist that is only unlocked on the weekend in order to keep things fresh.
Gameplay features
Req stations would not be available, so if players want new weapons (as ammo will be very limited) they will have to look for hidden weapons on the map. A very small amount of vehicles would also be available to find.
Game chat would also be forced to immerse the players, though it would not be required to talk. The player could mute everyone if the choose. The forced game chat is there to immerse the player, more specifically proximity chat.
Survivors would have proximity chat, though the infected would be able to communicate with their team at any distance. The infected would also be able to hear the survivors talking, the survivors would not be able to hear the infected.
There would be three rounds.
Maps
The Maps in Deadzone would be the same old warzone maps, though with an atmospheric change. The Maps in this playlist would have a night filter on, so instead of the map “Raid on apex 7” you would be getting "A night on apex 7 ".
The Infected
In the beginning of a round, six alpha zombies would be chosen due to the size of the maps. These alpha zombies would have increased speed and strength, they would also get bad cammo to get the jump on players.
Like usual, the infected would be unable to pick up weapons and use vehicles. These zombies would have a good speed because of the map size, but of course the aplha zombies would be faster. Each infected player would also have an advanced radar.
The survivors
All 18 survivors would all get dropped off by a pelican just like in regular warzone, though there would be no lines heard from palmer in order to set the mood. The survivors would spawn with shotguns, but with very little ammo to encourage players to stay mobile.
The survivors would also be limited to proximity chat, so if players want to communicate, they need to stay close. This is in order to immerse the player.
The last six survivors would get waypoints on their heads, and the music would commence.
AI
What better enemy AI to bring in this mode other than the prometheans. They were designed to fight the flood in the first place, so having them fight the infected would fit well. However instead of having higher tier enemies spawn in specific places, they would spawn more randomly on patrol, looking to put down the infected and the survivors. The bosses would drop weapons for the survivors, but lower tier prometheans would drop nothing. Though, the prometheans would not be common.

In the end, I would really like to make this game mode in customs, though due to the lack of warzone editing, I can’t. So I would really like 343 to add a game mode like this or something similar, I can see it being very fun and popular.
So would you guys want something like this? Any ideas on this would be great.

Would be awesome to see something like this in the actual game!
