Deadeye Helmet IS Exclusive

So I went to Best Buy today, and saw the Halo 4 Preorder card. On it said:

Notice HELMET, not HELMET SKIN?

So, this means Locus too, which is my favorite helmet in Halo 4, so this sucks. :confused:

I understand weā€™ll more than likely be able to buy the preorder retailer bonuses at a later date, but bs angel said in one of her Bulletins that only the skins will be locked, and no Armor will be locked for preorder retailer bonuses.

As you say, bs angel claimed no armour is locked (except FOTUS, presumably). Iā€™d be tempted to believe Bestbuy have made an error.

Since skins can be chosen for individual pieces of armor Iā€™m guessing itā€™s just the skin.

They really havenā€™t cleared that up.

Donā€™t forget the Recruit armor thatā€™s for the LE.

They kind of have, they just didnā€™t over-explain things.

Actually, Recruit is Default Armor. for LE, you just get the Prime Skin for it.

Me too. But then someone (I want to say bs angel) confirmed it wasnā€™t. :confused:

Kinda makes sense though that Recruit is the Default.

What if itā€™s just an exclusive in the sense that it unlocks it early for you?

On those armor vids on you tube, it shows just deadeye. All the other helmets for example would say recruit, then recruit prime. Deadeye didnā€™t have a skin

New theory, pax shows all armor and skins, except preorder skins that are codes out the game.

Think about it before you say no.

As in Reach you will be able to buy it, the code just makes it free in game, and it will have that design on it too.

All Pre order ā€œexclusivesā€ will become available down the road.

I really hope this is the case- Iā€™m getting mine at GameStop, and the HAZOP Forest skin doesnā€™t really interest me
