Deadball Zone - The New Grifball

So for a while now I have been thinking about a new gametype for action sack. The game mode I would like to create is in reference to the old and phenomenal game, “Deadball Zone” Youtube link to the game → (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qlbb_XBL5mw)

In a way it is like Grifball. However, the players are required to throw the ball to score. I know that in Halo 4 you aren’t allowed to score a goal by just throwing the ball into the location, so I have been trying to think of new ways to score rather than just simply running to the location. I want to make it to where ball movement between players is required in order to score so there isn’t that one player that hogs the ball the entire time.

Also, instead of hammers and swords I was thinking maybe I could increase the melee damage and set it to where players only have pistols (would have to see which one plays best). Also, players would have one grenade (i am thinking pulse grenade since that requires most skill).

Once a player has scored, they would gain an ordinance drop consisting of: an armor ability, more grenades, or an assault rifle.

As you can see I am still trying to think of ideas to make this happen so if anyone would like to help or would like to share their opinions it would be greatly appreciated.
