Ok so I just watched Warzone for the first time and is it just me or is there a hell of a lot of “DeadZones” in that game type.
It didn’t play out like the trailer showed that’s for sure. I expected there to be lots of non stop chaotic fighting and action but 70% of the game appears to be sprinting across dead zones where there is absolutely no action. I don’t know how I’ll feel after a few games when I’m getting respawned 10miles away from any action. :-/
i don’t know weather it’s that they need to add a few more Spartans or maybe even make the game mode a multi team game mode.
Is anyone else seeing this issue or am I just imagining things?
You haven’t played the game mode, so I would wait to form an opinion until you play it. There are plenty of youtube videos of people playing with a lot of action and being spawned very close to it.
Well you can choose which team-controlled base to spawn at, and the goal is to capture the other bases. So between capturing enemy bases and defending your own, I don’t think we’ll have to worry about being too far away from the action when we respawn.
I saw a lot of action in Greenskull’s video here if you need it but there were indeed some times when there were periods of no “splosions everywhere, death for all!” constant action like in the ViDoc. Which is pretty much like a lot of Big Team games I’ve had.
Of course in the trailer they’d highlight the best parts of it, but not every game is going to play the same. Near the end when people are sporting more powerful toys and when your generator is on the line, it’d get a lot more frantic than in the opening.
