Dead Multiplayer

Halo Infinite has had 6 years of work on it and it is told to us that the maps that are in the beta of the multiplayer is all we are getting at launch. this is going to be the most dead of content halo game ever launched for multiplayer. it is almost as if they have ignored the community on what people liked about halo multiplayer. They have the MCC as a wonderful example of a way to a good customizable multiplayer experience. I don’t know if its just Microsoft trying short cut a game for the holiday season and hope 343 can fix it later. Either way if there needs to be a big drop in content if this game hopes to stay active after launch. Bring back classic maps. bring back classic guns and make a customizable halo Multiplayer.

Because they miss out on partial content that past Halo games had, doesn’t mean “they ignored what the community likes”. That is just arrogance.

I am running on almost 350 matches now, and played 100 matches last beta, so the second I finish this Battle Pass here next week, I’m dropping the multiplayer, unless I see some filler content, events, or a weekly item I just really want. I’m burnt out on these same few maps. I’d much rather be playing Customs, but Customs in Infinite is a joke, and no Forge anytime soon, so back to MCC I guess, where the Customs I’ve been playing for a decade are still fun. I’ll only be playing Campaign on Infinite otherwise. You don’t get anything for playing matches, nobody wants to play the objective, and XP is worthless when the BP is done, so no reason to play multiplayer until something changes, unless I get invited by friends to help them with their BP.

what makes it arrogant to think that they have decided to ignore a system that works for there new system. they have a saying if it isn’t broke don’t fix it for a reason. they can add to it to and try to make it there own like making new game types but all we got is 4 variations of randomization multiplayer.

Like the weapon sand box in Infinite? Everything is out shown by the AR, or BR, the only weapon I’ll go out of my way for is rockets. Equipment is next to pointless its cool but it really doesn’t add anything except gimmicks. H5 had some of the best and craziest weapon variants we’ve ever seen why didn’t they build upon that sandbox instead of gutting it.

i always thought halo 5 had to much variation. it had several copes of the same gun that did vastly different things that made fights very hard to gage if you can win or not. not my cup of tea but im glad other people like it.
i like being able to see someones gun and knowing what its going to do.

This is true, I just dont know why they felt the need to gut the sandbox, say what you want about H4 but it brought a lot of good and interesting weapons to the halo universe, and if it didn’t have custom classes it would have been amazing, neigh on perfect. H5 took those weapons to the next level the only thing I really didn’t like was the tracking bolts on the suppressor and boltshot (especially on my legendary run), but I’m going to miss “The Answer” that SAW was epic, and the railgun was the closest thing to a bow we’ll ever get in a Halo game.

This not even 1\4 of a Halo multiplayer. Where the rest? Is this really the best microsoft can do in 6 years? Not holding much hope for the future of this franchise
