Deactivating camo on Prophet's bane?

Is there any way to remove camo on prophet’s bane? Or could a weapon combo to simply switch the energy sword model to prophet’s bane?
I know you can get the whispered truth gun model without a silencer with weapon combos.
Is there anyway to at least replicate that with Prophet’s bane?

> Yes

I’m not too sure.
I know in the beta the Phrophets Bane didn’t have Camo active on it.
It’s a shame you can’t appreciate the weapon in hand anymore because it is really cool looking

There’s are way? Care to share bro?

you have to use the Glitch with the arming plates

I’ve tried every combination I can think of, I don’t think you can have the Prophet’s Bane weapon model out without the active camo.
I can’t find any video on it, no tutorial, no explanation.
I’m only getting hearsay and finding clickbait thumbnails.

You could try putting a tier 4 req weapon on the weapon pad, then scrolling across to the energy sword in the weapon pad. The texture on the weapon depends on the req tier, and it’s relative to every weapon.

I’m going extra lengths to figure out what combinations change the sword via the weapon pad. So far, nothing gets past the Ravening Sliver and Vorpal Talon sword skins.
The reason why I don’t think it works via weapon pad is because PB is an entirely separate model with its own unique material and mesh. It doesn’t just take after RS, VT, default or the classic.
I’m almost done with the complete extensive list of what changes the sword.
But so far, removing the active camo from PB via the weapon pad doesn’t work and the people that do say it works do not provide how they made it work.

it would make it far less op if they addded a camo timer for like 15 seconds then the camo would ware off and be put on a 15 second cooldown

Okay, As it stands right now.
It is not possible to remove the active camo from Prophet’s Bane in-game.
Can’t do it in forge, can’t do it with custom traits in custom games.
The only time we can use the sword without the camo is in the campaign.
I’ve checked every single req combo for the sword via the weapon pad glitch and no matter what combo is used, prophet’s bane still has it’s active camo.
I’ve talked to tons of friends who used to forge like crazy and while they and many others have told me that it is possible, none of them could back up their claim nor could they tell me how they accomplished it aside from the WPG.

I’ve now mapped out the WPG for Bane and even went as far as filling out a google spreadsheet to keep track of what I had tried. And I’m sorry to say I don’t think it’s possible without third party tools.

I wouldn’t even say it’s that overpowered to be honest. If you move at anything than a snails crawl the camo is revealed very easily.

If you’re aware someone has a bane in the area it’s fairly easy to counter without too much fuss

The balance of the weapon has nothing to do with what op has asked, you guys are derailing the topic.

I would like to know this too. In the H5 Forge PC files, people found the campaign version of the bane (without the camo) called the ancestral blade. Although I haven’t seen anything besides that.

My first post was completely relevant. I’m just responding to a reply…

No one is purposely trying to derail anything my friend

we were talking about how the prophets bane look could be incorporated into the game

The topic isn’t about that though. The OP asked if it was possible to remove the camo from the weapon.
And if it was possible to do it with the well known weapon pad glitch.
Not anything about it’s balance in terms of actual gameplay.
