I’ve been playing the new Castle map pack for the past 2 hours and I’m really enjoying it. With the disappointing Crimson DLC and the Majestic DLC kind of uplifting that disappointment, I feel the Castle map pack will satisfy what most halo players feel this game was missing.
The only problem I have is with Daybreak. There’s a lift for red base but not for blue. People will argue that it’s because there is a “tactical jump” or that there’s a direct path for Blue team but really a jumper saves time. I find it very easy for red team to spawn and take the jumper to protect their flag carrier when he is in the middle. Also, if the flag is in the middle, red team would have no problem getting to it first.
A little bit one sided?

Each side has a man cannon. Red team’s go from the top of their base to the center of the map while Blue team’s go from the bottom of their base to the top. I also see this as a problem for CTF, and possible other game-types as well.
