I would really like to have a hardcore, no radar, playlist day one when h4 releases. Every previous halo in the series has overlooked those of us who prefer to play without a radar. We are forced to wait until mlg releases their settings to the developer before we get a matchmaking list. I personally, to put it lightly, do not enjoy playing with a radar. The whole idea of my opponent getting a play by play of my location with each step i take is appalling. So anyone who feels as i do please show support for this tread and perhaps 343i will give us a no radar playlist from day one.
Geez, does every halo player on waypoint want a playlist custom tailored to their liking all the sudden? Wtf happened to everyone agreeing that streamlining for population reasons was a good idea?
@ lone wanderer86
I’m all for a streamlined matchmaking system that properly distributes the population. Though those of us who prefer to play with no radar never get a gametype in the hopper until mlg releases theirs. This should problem should be addressed in h4. Your pointless comment has been observed so now it’s time to move along troll.

I enjoy playing mlg but, but a better idea is for the mlg community to give then there settings as soon as the game comes out becuase players like ghandi and naded and many others have already played the game months before release and are currently talking about how competitive halo should be in halo 4 or atleast in the mlg playlist. No radar does not mean it will be a good playlist, you need the settings to come with it.
Eh, never played ‘slayer pro’ or any other ‘pro’ gametype?
…You mean SWAT?
Seems like Slayer Pro…but you have to vote for that.
I’m sure there will be Mlg playlist as there has been one on reach and Halo 3.
If you don’t like people to see you on the radar, don’t forget you could just crouch walk…
> Every previous halo in the series has overlooked those of us who prefer to play without a radar.
That’s because Halo is meant to be played with a motion tracker (radar).
That’s like saying, “Every previous Halo in the series has overlooked those us who prefer to play without precision weapons”, why should a playlist be made for the vast minority who, actually, do prefer to play Halo that way?
They can’t create a playlist for everyone, and as a result, they streamline the playlists to make as many people as possible happy.
To be honest, I don’t think they’re going to make a playlist where the only difference from the core game is that there’s no motion tracker.

Just because he disagrees with you doesn’t mean he’s a troll.

They want everything yet they have not even seen any of the playlists yet.

Just because he doesn’t share your opinion doesn’t mean he is a troll.
He, opposite you, have actually often posted comments that made WAY more sense then your original post.
@ o Snazzer o
It will take a while for mlg to test the game and figure out the perfect balance. The settings will not be ready upon release.
@ LeroyvL
Ya i have but the last time we had pro settings in matchmaking was h2, and even there it was a subset of another playlist. No radar, or hardcore, should be a gametype all by itself.
@ SitriStahl
No i mean a gametype with no radar and default health settings.

Just a heads up. you can “Quote” a person by clicking “Quote” on their response. That way, you don’t have to say [ @ iEndR ]
OT:
I liked Team Hardcore in Halo 2. It was essentially Slayer Pro 24/7. I would love to see a playlist like this return in H4!
@ A Blackxican
Really??? Why should that be the only option, why can’t we simply have a playlist with no radar.
@ Tomok12
If halo was meant to only be played with a radar then there never would have been an option to turn it off. The main reason it was ever put in was because it caters to the casual gamer who has no situational awareness. Your second paragraph made zero sense, you make a lot of assumptions and provide no evidence.
@ Jay S094
You’re probably right that they won’t make a hardcore gametype but i figured i try. As far as your second comment, that kid was absolutely trolling. What’s it to him if i suggest a hardcore gametype but he just had to post his thoughts on the subject even though it added nothing to the conversation.
