Yeah, because all the cosmetic items need to be purchased through the shop.
This is part of the reason things won’t really change. There is nothing wrong with having a shop in a game, but when the entire game is built around it, it’s the most asinine thing I’ve ever seen this developers do.
Never mind that 343 deliberately lied to the entire player base when it comes to customization.
Hmm, this makes me wonder how far they will go with their shenanigans since it was so easy to lie to the player base face.

Yeah it’s pretty garbage. They can’t even code well enough to make their money shop functional. How can the thing you update the most be the least back end user friendly? They have said multiple times there’s technical issues. It’s a joke at this point that I can even be scammed for money by them
I just don’t get how they screw up so bad knowing the resources they actually have.
They even outsourced their work, that technically that should mean infinite should be in a much better state than it is. Hell, not even Bungie screw up this bad with Destiny 2 when it comes to the structure of a game.
This is the worst I’ve seen in 10 years when it comes to making decisions designing a game.

Everyone here thinks coding something like a item shop is some sort of mystical job. Ameture coder could make this shop from the ground up 2 weeks tops…so I have to ask WTF is going on over there???
