I was wondering if anyone else who is on the middle east has been able to play multiplayer. I along with several of my friends purchased halo master chief collection on day one and none of us have been able to play any match online at all. The updates have not helped whatsoever. I’ve sat in a matchmaking lobby for over an hour just to see if it would connect and nothing. I just don’t understand how the servers could be this screwed up. It’s almost like 343 didn’t do any alpha or beta testing at all to have screwed this up so bad. I feel like I’ve been ripped off. Halo nightfall doesn’t even work. It’s just an endless loop from the halo channel to the game saying buy now even though the disc is inserted in the console.
Because Im curious… Run the matchmaking for about 1 to 2 minutes. Then as you are searching for a game I want you to go to Xbox Home, then settings, then network, and perform a multiplayer network test. From there if it says that you are all good than I do not know your issue. If not, than hold the bumpers and triggers and check if you are receiving any upload at all. (you will no what I mean when you do it). If you aren’t receiving anything for upload, your Xbox One shut down multiplayer because your internet connection cant do some p2p type environments.
I have been barely bale to find a match, and now since they made it easier for matchmaking to switch to P2P its made it impossible to find a game because I live on a university and the connection for p2p here wont work on my Xbox One.
And in order to gain access to Nightfall simply put the code that you received from within the box.
