I’ve heard that there is a 9 gig day 1 update, Is this true??? I bloody well hope not, that’s kind of a joke if so. Can anyone confirm this??? Did I miss something in a weekly update or something?? I’ve read it a few times on here, but every time I ask for a source I get nothing. Links anyone?

Ya, that’s not me, now you can eat those words, thank you too real 4 tv for the info!
Ya digital is fine if you have the data to spear, which I don’t. This is a huge pain in the -Yoink- for people like me. I buy the disc for these very reasons, now I have to try and figure out wtf I’m going to do. I’m tired of these huge day 1 patches for games, holy crap. Thanks for nothing 343I/MS or whoever… geeezzz and thanks again for the information too real 4 tv, most appreciated
I like having a disc copy to trade if a game sucks. But I gotta agree digital is the way to go for a game like this! I only regret buying Destiny digital.

Really? While you may get to download it early what is that compared to actually being able to play it on anyone’s console anywhere and actually holding the game? What if your HDD crashes?
Physical wins- no contest to merely being able to play it a few hours earlier digitally.
PS how much better than everyone else do you think you will get in a few hours anyway?

So I’m guessing you don’t know how to license share a digital copy? I buy the game once, and both of my xbox ones can play it. At the same time.
HDD crashing is about as likely as someone breaking into your house and stealing your physical copy, difference is they will probably steal your xbox too.
Also, saves are stored in the cloud are they not? What would crashing even matter? It would just be a hassle in the exact same capacity if you had a physical copy over digital.
You still have to install the game.
Still worth the disc imo. Seeing that case in my collection just feels too right to let it go. Although I now only get physical copies of my most favorite games and end up getting digital for the other stuff. Except I really wish I could’ve sold Destiny and kind of regret having it digital.
Although I’m sure on launch day I’ll be wishing I could’ve pre-loaded that download. On my download speed I’m pretty sure it takes about 9 minutes to download a gigabyte. Hm… That’s too many minutes of sadness for my comfort.
I like digital, but id rather have physical LE than digital deluxe edition. Shame it doesnt come with a download code, i dont trust any interneters enough to tradd disc for code.

1.) I can actually play it on anyone’s console if I sign in to their console.
2.) Holding the game? What is it a teddy bear or something?
3.) If my HDD crashes my saves are on the cloud and the minute that I pick up a new X1 I can re-download the game and pick up right where I left off.
4.) I can actually play the game at the same time on two different X1’s, so my brother and I split the game cost
5.) It’s not about getting better in a few hours, it’s about the fact that it’s hassle free
