Day 1 download

Any info on how large of a download this game will be even if you got the physical disc? I’m assuming there WILL be a day 1 download required considering the how much content there will be. I’m just hoping it isn’t as large as the MCC’s.

It would be nice for owners of the physical edition to get a “pre-download” option the day of midnight release, so you can let it download before you bring it home. After all, not everyone has the greatest internet speeds.

I’m fairly certain nothing has been released about this. We still don’t know how large the download will be.

I think we can safely assume at least a 2 or 3GB download

I’m gonna guess that the full game will be between 20-30GB with 40 being the very most. It will never hit 70GB like MCC is right now

It really depends on how much content they add. I’m going to guess between 30 and 50, depending on how big forge is, with all the new pieces that it better have, and how many armors, maps, campaign levels, and vehicle variants there are. I doubt it’ll reach MCC territory, but if it does it better be a Yoink-ing huge amount of content for the game.

Let’s just hope it’s one of those games where you can start playing campaign at 10% downloaded.

Lol wut? The beta alone was 8GB. The full game will probably be around 30GB

Obviously I am the toast was referring to a day one patch size, not the size of the full game. Might be a good idea to think first before trying to call out someone for making a dumb comment.
