So, I was wondering: When will I be able to download this patch? Like will it go live before the 12:01 EST launch or at the same time? I’m hoping for the former in all honesty so I can co-op immediately when I boot it up.
Its already out, if your game size 54.8 gb then you already have it.
Check in your Games n Apps and go to manage game, If it says 54.8 or more, you have the patch already. If not then just be patient and hard reset your console

Edit: Okay, that’s weird. Checked the Xbox One, brought up ‘manage game’ when I highlight Halo 5 and under ‘manage all’ it says 28.5 mb and Halo 5 has 0 gb. I remember downloading the game and then I go to the Xbox store option for the game, has the right size on it but it says ‘play on 10/27/2015’ so…I’m a TAAAAAD worried now.
Haven’t heard anything about what the day 1 patch contains is it to make way for day 1 maps or something?
If your game says 54.84GB it’s already installed.
Yup, 54.8 is already installed and ready to go. I can’t wait until midnight tomorrow.

If you don’t have it now it will be part of your download when you download it.

Are you apart of the NXOE? (New Xbox One Experience) If so its a common glitch and nothing to worry about

This is the NXOE dashboard, if you have this then you are a preview member.
Nope, don’t have that.
For digital, its already out. Just make sure your Xbox is set to always on, and it will automatically install.
Okay, the xbox now says that all that data is there.
You can pre-download the Day one patch, as long as you have instant mode on. If your game file read 54gb -55gb you have the day 1 patch installed and are good to go.
If your game reads anything less then 40gb, your gonna have to reinstall the game cause you downloaded a sub file instead of the game.

I downloaded the patch a few days ago. Now my Halo 5 game says 54.8 gigabytes, so I am ready to go on launch day. Can’t wait!
