Data hive woUld have been a great place to meet the flood

Yes, not very canonical, but the superintendent wasn’t, neither was the data hive existing. It was scary, dark, it would have been perfect.

Remember in reach when you return to sword base for a demo op? Remember when that door suddenly slides open to reveal a trolley?

I cudve sworn the flood were going to show, the lighting was perfect, mood was tense, music was creepy, and how slowly the door closed behind them

I’m having trouble seening how the superintendent and the data hive aren’t canonical.

I feel the same

I think it was better to stick to the canon however much the atmosphere set up for the flood. It’d be a pretty strange suprise though, finding the flood in New Mombassa.

Fortunately, the flood weren’t there to spoil my ODST experience.

Agreed.

They create a level similar in layout to this in Halo 4. Or you could create something like this in forge for a custom game of infection.

@42meaningoflife

considering the flood didnt arrive on earth until halo 3 it wouldnt of worked out so well
