Lower the hiss a bit and raise the sound of the thud and you got yourself a -Yoink!- weapon
I agree with you; I enjoy the new take on the sound, but I feel it needs more “beef” behind it.

It sounds plenty beefy to me, with more low-end tone at the end of the swing, but I have a problem with the “ping” sound.
It is a gravity hammer; it needs to have an explosion of…uh…gravity? Compressed air? Something. It needs to show everybody in a ten mile radius not to -Yoink- with the wielder.
It sounds like someone tied a jingle bell to it. They need to make it sound badass again. I can’t imagine a brute chieftain swinging that hammer around an hearing a “PING” every time.
