Dat flinch in snipers...

Flinch utterly destroys any skill in snipers and needs to be eradicated. This mechanic promotes camping and body shotting. How so, you ask? Prime example:
A noob is camping. A far more skilled opponent crosses his sights. The noob bodyshots the man, and even on ten sensitivity, by the time his crosshairs are back down, the fool simply does a follow-up bodyshot. This is complete nonsense that basically rewards being bad. The flinch by itself isn’t all that bad, it’s the fact that it sends the crosshair so far up is. Bringing back being shot out of scope would be a perfect solution. Reason being is that in my example, the better player can at least return fire, and if he truly is better, he can pull off a headshot.
Thoughts?

I just got done playing Team Snipers and the whole Game I was thinking This flinch has got to go. Its Ridiculous.

and yes this game is pretty much COd lite with Halo weapons after all the changes they made.

Get real.

In Snipers it rewards the person who got the first shot. Oh, and before flinch you were unzoomed which is even more annoying. In anything else use the Rogue’s mod to remedy this problem.

A bunch of noobs ran like headless chickens mid way in a match, never getting headshots as if though they can’t or just took the easier way out, tried to beat me in snipers recently.

I’m calling them noobs only cause 3, then before I left the lobby, 1 of them proved to be quite bad at it.

I think its sad when snapshot almost half of my total kills (9of21), since my aim was good, but since while in scope I get shot in the crotch ofter I just had to duke it out without the scope for most of the second half.

What’s worse is that alot of times due to the lag, the enemy player doesn’t seem to flintch at all, and this is without any specializations.

Again halo sees more changes instead of refining the formula. Identity crisis strikes again

TAKE OUT FLINCH!

Quite honestly the flinch component isn’t realistic nor practical. COD’s weapon flinch is more realistic, in that your recticle does raise up but goes back down in a rapid movement, actually showing the flinch of the body as the bullet hits them. No one gets shot while scoped in and just aim up into the sky. Doesn’t work like that.

In regards to snipers, this is by far the worst mechanic for bullet hit response. Although unscoping was annoying, it is much more effective in terms of fairness and gameplay mechanic. It takes much less effort and time to scope back into your weapon than it does to manually aim back down to your target. Quite frankly you simply don’t have enough time to aim back down without getting shot a second time unless the enemy misses or takes too long to aim. I’m not sure why they removed unscoping. It has always worked well for the entire series.
