I usually avoid the “dat -Yoink-” phrase, but I think this is deserving. The new Beam Rifle is beautiful. The model, the textures, the particle effects, the sound, the everything…

I’m in love because my precious is back. <3

It’s better than the original in my personal opinion. The old one looked a bit funky. I don’t like how close it looks to the Storm Rifle though.

I kinda dislike the sound. I think it should be a bit sharper.

hopefully they changed some of it’s statistics, because the original was basically the sniper rifle with a battery :confused:

The original seemed too angular to me. It just didn’t fit with most Covy design.

I wish I could hear it, but I muted the video because I diddn’t want to listen to the dubstep. Hopefully they will have a version without the dubstep like they did with the UNSC Weapons Sounds video. I only wish they diddn’t show off the weapons in a montage and just did a B-roll instead.

I love the oldschool sci-fi pewpew sound it has. Badass.
