Serious…why is it even in the game if you’re just going to get slam dunked by a DMR more than 50 per cent of the time. I seriously don’t get it. The DMR (as said in multiple threads) needs to be rebalanced because it’s pretty much a go to gun right now.

I use the BR over the DMR every time except on Big maps. I just have a hatred for the DMR that is fueled by my undying hatred for Reach and all the people that actually liked it. I get especially angry every time I get killed and see the guy in the kill cam using the yellow skin DMR. That just sends it over the top for me because this guy thought he’s just too -Yoinking!- cool using a weapon that doesn’t even belong in the Halo universe and is currently overpowered at long ranged distances.
Virtually a sniper rifle at all ranged.
Got a sniper rifle? Prepare to get dunked by the DMR. Every. Single. Time.
DMR is boring and has nothing to it. I could care less if it is the strongest Rifle.
Br also is boring, but Halo 2 nostalgia keeps making me use it

FIX THIS -Yoink!- BR, this is ridiculous…the BR should at least equal the DMR in kill time/ 4sk no recoil and smaller spread…
I like the DMR because it wins, but I prefer the sexiness of the BR cause of the sound but the recoil and vulgar spread sicken me…

While we’re on the topic of re-balancing, why isn’t my Assault Rifle killing with headshots? And how come I can get punched once by somebody and it instantly kills me if my shield is down?
Its almost like this is a video game, and each weapon has a particular role its supposed to play…

actually i think the DMRs power in halo 4 comes from the very generous area 343 has given us to make head shots. At least in reach 5 shoting with DMR was hard boom…boom…boom…boom…boom.

We havent had halo since 3. Everyone that made it is gone. its not gonna be back. So we have to deal with this -Yoink-. Isnt modern videogaming so fun?
I love the BR. It has a different “feel” to it than the DMR. If used right you can dominate with it. I out BR people that use the DMR all the time.
Dont try and snipe people with Br-primary then. DMR obv trumps it.

If anyone’s played BF3 then a good analogy is the DMR is the M16A3 (pre-patch). The M16 was THE gun you would pick if you needed to rack up kills. While it didn’t have the range of a DMR is sure as hell could put some rounds down range.

This is how I feel about the DMR, except I use the BR ALL the time except for SWAT.

they also fixed that. in lore wise they said the br replaced the dmr in combat but now it’s back and stronger?
I’m a BR user, and I still have a 2.02 K/D. I don’t consider myself too good, so I don’t understand why everyone on these forums makes the DMR out to be some unstoppable beast.
I can agree the DMR needs its RoF lowered a bit, but come on. The BR is a lot more accurate than people think it is.
