I dashboarded because I had to deal with some family issues, this was before the game had even loaded in, I look back at my service record and it recorded it and counted as a quit.
Dashboarding counts as quitting now?
Was the game loading? I’ve dashboarded before it started and nothing happened. It had time to fill the spot though.
It’s been that way for a while now.
Quitting is quitting. If the game officially has you loaded in and then you leave, no matter what way you leave by, it will count it as a quit and loss.
What they need to fix is the cancel matchmaking option. The game is still searching for players with nothing loaded yet. I go to cancel the match and while the cancel is loading for 3-4 seconds it aborts and puts me into a game. Like, wtf!?
If still have the option to cancel out of matchmaking, then that should override everything and you shouldn’t be put into a match after you do it.

I only do it with JIP games or if I know I’m in the lobby with a full party cause the majority of the time you’re going to be on the losing team and often times it’s not even a fair match. I should also specify that this is for social gametypes and not ranked.

Quitting is quitting… don’t search for a match if you don’t want to play. Like I said they usually dash out to late and the game starts anyways. So you are still short a player.
