Darn, could the wait take ANY longer?!?!

I realize we have just over 12 weeks left until launch, but it seems like an eternity! All of my games are getting very old and boring, and since I owe over $80 on Halo 4, I have to save up for that instead of buying games to pass the time. I literally have NOTHING fun to do or play besides read Primordium, which I’m gonna start later this evening (2:30 in the morning here).

I can’t quit thinking about Halo 4, primarily the Campaign. I just wish my games weren’t so boring right now. At least when school starts, I won’t care how boring my games are because I’ll be so ready to get home every day and do something other than school, so even my most boring games would seem fun.

For me, when games are this far from release, I count the weeks I have left, as well as the months (less than 3). As a game draws closer, and the final month before launch begins, I begin to count the weeks and the days as well. For me, school, weekends, and the midnight launch are the biggest milestones in the wait for a game.

Regardless of how long it feels like it takes for me or anyone else, we, the community, have come a long way since the Legendary ending of Halo 3, the big E3 reveal last year, the first screens and info back in March, and the E3 demo.

Just think, last year, when Halo 4 was revealed at E3, we had well over 400 days until launch. Look where we are now, people. Less than 90 days stand before us and possession of the game. We are almost there, people. We just have to make this last push through these next 12 weeks, and we’re there. The moment we’ve been waiting for is just a mere 2 4/5 months away. We can do it. We can make it.

Of course, my problem is trying to find something fun to do within the last weeks before release, like right now.

masturb… read alot.

I know what to do!

Run around in circles all day!

No? Okay…then…let’s try something else. I’m sure Waypoint will be able to keep you ditracted for a while at least. You could play through ALL your games. The list goes on like that. Although I’d take your mind off Halo 4 so you wont be distracted.

Well there is alot of other things to do then playing games till launch.

Hang out with friends?
Go swim?
Beach party?
Football?
Skating?

It’ll be easier to pass the time when being physically active, as the time just flies.

I would tell you all about a body-boarding story but it’s not pretty

First, pay off your copy. After that, write a note that you MUST avoid the retailer you prepaid your copy at until November 5th at 11:50pm.

Hide your computer, and any other way to access Waypoint.

Then, find a way to lose your memory! Blunt objects, or failed backflips should suffice.

If all goes well, and you somehow managed to maintain your ability to comprehend your english skills, time will fly by like nothing.

I’d rather not drag you with me to the olympics if that is the case haha.

Try playing all the halo games, legendary, in order… Hehehe

Well my advice would be, party up  Or… try fiend girl or boyfriend, but if you have one already well… spend time with your loved one :stuck_out_tongue: Go hiking, sailing etc those help for me atleast. Watch movies, go to do some charity work etc… The limits are infinitless  Or get cute puppy for you to train, dog of course

A man has gotta… You know he’s…Uhhhm You know what? Efff this!

Hype yourself with the Halo books. There’s enough of them to take a while to read. Not only does it pass the time but it’s going to connect with Halo 4’s story. Greg Bear is an exceptionaly talented writer.

Perhaps if I lived in a place where I could do all of those things, I would.
