I realize we have just over 12 weeks left until launch, but it seems like an eternity! All of my games are getting very old and boring, and since I owe over $80 on Halo 4, I have to save up for that instead of buying games to pass the time. I literally have NOTHING fun to do or play besides read Primordium, which I’m gonna start later this evening (2:30 in the morning here).
I can’t quit thinking about Halo 4, primarily the Campaign. I just wish my games weren’t so boring right now. At least when school starts, I won’t care how boring my games are because I’ll be so ready to get home every day and do something other than school, so even my most boring games would seem fun.
For me, when games are this far from release, I count the weeks I have left, as well as the months (less than 3). As a game draws closer, and the final month before launch begins, I begin to count the weeks and the days as well. For me, school, weekends, and the midnight launch are the biggest milestones in the wait for a game.
Regardless of how long it feels like it takes for me or anyone else, we, the community, have come a long way since the Legendary ending of Halo 3, the big E3 reveal last year, the first screens and info back in March, and the E3 demo.
Just think, last year, when Halo 4 was revealed at E3, we had well over 400 days until launch. Look where we are now, people. Less than 90 days stand before us and possession of the game. We are almost there, people. We just have to make this last push through these next 12 weeks, and we’re there. The moment we’ve been waiting for is just a mere 2 4/5 months away. We can do it. We can make it.
Of course, my problem is trying to find something fun to do within the last weeks before release, like right now.
Or… try fiend girl or boyfriend, but if you have one already well… spend time with your loved one
